Pros:

You can be privately 'selected' for chat. It'll show up under friends.
Cons:
No links click-able
Interface is ugly
No saved chats
No third party alert
Chat may not actually function. *I can see private, not public. Incoming, but not outgoing; get the picture? I've cleared cookies, logged off, logged on, and exited the internet. Everything but a reset. D:< *
Passwords need to be delivered sans actual use of the word 'password'. I don't see the safety of the private chats if you have to announce you'll be sending it out via PM's or the like.

For the sake of curiosity, I live the east Coast in EST time.
Eastern Time zone : 8 PM-10 PM
Central Time zone: 7 PM-9 PM
Mountain Time zone: 6 PM-8 PM
Pacific Coast zone: 5 PM-7 PM
