Well I hope i Impress with this Gemsona ^_^
MY Gemsona's name is Red Ammolite. (Hope this is okay) Her Gem is cracked, it being cracked causes her to have mood swings at the worst possible times. Gem location is right between her shoulder blades. As far as her "male appearance" goes, it does tend to shift at will as well, due to the cracks in the gem.
(The Character's Form/Appearance is based on my Avatar. I plan to draw/sketch out a better picture later) ((If you need a visual, this is the best i could find on the internet <_<))
Weapon That can be generated (if/when they can focus): Is these bladed Knuckle weapons.
Bio: Ammolite was considered a Prototype Experiment that seem to work. Ammolite was known to be a fighter, but when in heavy conflict with a Rouge gem, her gem spontaneously cracked mid battle. When inspected into, there was no direct knowledge of why it did, and was cast out of her peers for being considered... unstable.

I was a little shy about sharing my gems because half of them are male (and yes I have been almost attacked for having male gem OCs before, nevermind that they're genderless right?) but I'm trying to break out of my shell because I really wanna meet and RP with people!
So I actually have a lot of gems but my main one is Clear Quartz based on a crystal I own IRL named Jay;
(Yes this is actually my crystal and actually my hand)
So Clear himself is a former Pink Diamond soldier during the Rebellion, who was hit on the side of his gem in battle, he isn't sure if it was by crossfire or the enemy, and poofed him. Rose found his mostly intact gem on the battlefield (but missing one piece) and decided to show him mercy and heal him as much as she could with her tears. In gratitude, he changed sides and offered Homeworld intelligence for her and her army. He used to be a "she" but when the war ended, he changed his gender identity so he could be different from the mold imposed by the Diamonds.
Being chipped has a lot of drawbacks for him; his voice is grainy and monotone for instance, and his physical form is smaller, skinnier, and less durable than his former Quartz-soldier form because it's easier for his gem to project. Now he wanders Earth hoping he'll find other non-corrupted survivors besides Rose's group, but he visits them every hundred years or so.

! i'm so excited to see all the gemsonas! i feel inspired!
My main one is Smithsonite (I'm having trouble posting images so if it doesn't show up I apologize).
She has a square-ish gem on her belly. Her main abilities are focused around empathy and mental/emotional healing--Smithsonites' original purpose was to serve as emissaries between the gems and other planets, but that was prior to the aggressive colonization initiated by the Diamonds. Modernly they are basically counselors who help to calm aggressive gems such as agates and keep them out of trouble when there's no conflict going on to keep them busy. Because they are seen as limited in their usefulness fewer Smithsonites are being made, so most of the existing ones are quite old compared to other gems. This one in particular worked with the Crystal Gems trying to heal the emotional wounds caused by the war, but was corrupted and bubbled like most of the others. Her corrupted form resembles a bat with long, diaphanous wings.
