Zosie: Hopping through the long grasses somewhat awkwardly, Kihaulau tried to avoid the strands sticking to his brightly coloured and somewhat matted paws. He had been searching for supplies. The area Mia had shown him was indeed full of plants with strange coloured secretions.Using them on their own or in combinations meant that he could use them to paint. He had already used some of them on his mask and had spoken to some of the other artisans about their techniques and was feeling pretty confident in what he was doing. Ideas seemed to blossom quickly in his mind and he had taken to acting on them on a whim.
nessiaing: Adri had settled into her new home quite well. It felt like it had been another life time ago that she was wondering on her own in the rogue lands, loney and sad. Even longer ago that she had been in the U'W a young female in her fathers harem. Adri had loved her old home, but she had never imagined a life like the one she had now, and frankly she couldn't be happier.
It was with these thoughts filling her mind that Adri found herself wondering in an adrea of the pride she had never been before. Opposed to all the rocks and hard ground ther was actually plants. It was a nice reflection of her old home, she had grown up in a lush forrest.
Zosie: Kihaulau had found these parts rather empty and quiet as opposed to the bustling crowds that often gathered around the central part of the pride. Walking through rather clumsily, admiring the plants, he noticed a sandy coloured lioness up ahead. Looking to his dirty paws he knew trying to lick them clean would be futile, they would smear his face with brightly coloured liquid. Instead he was making his way to the watering hole, to dip them in the water. He knew that the plants were not toxic, so there was no fear of accidentally contaminating any water. Wondering towards the female he gave her a smile before looking at his paint splattered paws. "Good afternoon!"
nessiaing: Adri smiled kindly, she loved that pretty well everyone in the pride was friend. In her old home she had always been somewhat weary of maes, you frnakly never knew what you were going to get with the males in U'W. Here she was happy to find pretty well everyone was friendly.
"Good afternoon fine sir." She greeted him, she still held on to her old manners from her former home. She looked down to his colourful paws. "It appears you have been having a eventful afternoon." she said. Adri was just a hunter in the pride, but she liked to see others in the pride who had different aspirations.
Zosie: The lioness was polite, and this pleased him, though he hoped that she did not think it was a requirement. It seemed to be just the friendliness of the pridelands that rubbed off on everyone who lived in it. He let out something between a chuckle and an undignified snort- but a happy one and glanced down at his paws. "Indeed it seems I have." He waved them about slightly, and instantly regretted it in case he splattered any more of the sticky substance onto his face or possibly in his mane. "I'm just getting to grips with my new role. As you can see its... messy."
nessiaing: Adri let out a giggle as the paint went splattering just about everywhere. Luckily she managed to nto get any poain on her. It was fortunate as she had a light coloured pelt it would probably take hours for her to have cleaned the dyes out.
"I can see that, where you heading towards the watering hole? I could join you." she offered him. She liked to get to know others but she also didn't want to hold themale up from whatever it was he needed to get done, and right now it looked like he needed to get clean.
"My name is Adri by the way." she said a large smile on her face.
Zosie: "I was indeed heading to the watering hole - could you tell?" He laughed and refrained from waving his paint covered limbs around any more- he needed to get this off and fast before it dyed his delightfully bright pink fur an array of rainbow colours. His eyes widened as he made sure he hadn't got any on the female, it would definitely be much bolder against her pelt. "Of course you can join me Adri, that would be nice." He purred. The Pridelands had already become a social hub for him, and he was excited to meet new faces. There was still one that stuck however, chocolate brown with deep maroon eyes that swam before his own vision occasionally and brought warmth to his heart. "I'm Kihaulau." He hopped to and fro on his paws a little. "I cannot wait to get this stuff off me!" He also couldn't wait to finish his mask - but he didn't think that was an appropriate thing to say as he had just been offered company!
nessiaing: Adri walked along stide Kihaulau a skip to her step she was happy to have somebody to hang out with while Waridi was busy minding the cubs her had in his car. Her mate was overjoyed to be a cub minder, but she had to admit she was a little sad that she didn't have more of his attention anymore, hopefully soon enough they would have a litter of their own though and she would be plenty busy.
"Did you grow up in the Pridelands Kihaulau, or are you a new comer like me." Adri wasn't sure how much she could call herself a new commer anymore she had been her quite sometime, but compared to some of the old families she was still brand spanking new.
Zosie: Kihaulau welcomed the female at his side happily, he loved having company. Lonliness was something that was rarely encountered now, and it was a welcome change. "I am a new comer, I have a long past... But I've started over anew." He shot her a toothy grin. "There are things to be done here, new things, exciting things..." He could feel his muses bursting at the seams. This new life had given him so much creativity, he was glad that he had a role into which he could channel it. Perhaps he could make things for others as gifts, those that had been particularly welcoming. He thought of this for a moment and then snapped back to reality. "I haven't been here all this long but... I'm settling in well enough alright. When did you join?" Kihaulau was interested to hear the stories of others that had joined the pride from other lands.
nessiaing: Adri trotted along happily listening to the male speak, it was impressive his new outlook on life, she liked to hear that he was enjoying a wonderful life here. The pride did seem to bring out the best in the lions that came here.
"I have been here about half a year I guess. Time sure does go by fast." she told him a smile on her maw and a stary expression in her eyes. "I use to have another home and a big family, then I went to living on my own in the rogue lands, it was scary." she told him. "Once I came here I felt out of sorts for awhile, nervous and like I jsut didn't fit in. That was until I met Didi, he and I well it was basically love at first sight." she said with a giggle. It wasn't hard to see that she was a girl in love.
"Speaking of him, I really should go and see him, he will be getting off work about now. I am sorry to leave you so soon though. I hope I see you again soon." she hoped that the pink male wouldn't think she was being rude, but once she got talking about her mate she missed him and she knew he would be looking for her once he got all the cubs home.
Zosie: "Wow, a year and a half!" He wondered where he would be in a year and a half... Maybe, just maybe... No, he shouldn't think about that right now. He shook his mane gently. Nodding almost intensely, he agreed with the lioness. "The roguelands can be a lonley place. I know all about having a family and then losing them... Though I have found this to be a most welcoming place. The sheer amount of creatures can be a little overwhelming I suppose." Love at first sight? Had he experienced that? Perhaps... Some memories were fuzzy now.
"Ah, I understand, It was very nice to meet you, still." Sincerity laced his words and he gave the female a wide smile. "Perhaps we shall run into each other again!"
