Mikel smiled as he looked over his paper to watch his daughter play in her play yard. She had grown greatly in the three and a half months she had been alive. Sighing, he stood and went to her. "Hello my darling." he whispered as he kneeled down to look at her. He smiled as she patted the netting between them, touching his nose. He enjoyed watching her play, hoping she would carry the innocence she had now forever. After a few moments, he stood and left her to play as he returned to his paper.
Anna walked down the stairs in the living room, she had just woke up and had a smile on her face because of a dream she had of Mikel during the night, they were together in a field with Mercy and they were all having a picnic together. She smiled as she watched Mikel interact with his daughter and sat down on the couch. "How was your night Mikel?" she asked sweetly she had never got over the childish crush that she had for him and wished that her feelings for him matched the feelings he had for her

Hearing the girl that usually took care of his daughter when he couldn't come down, Mikel turned to her. "I trust you slept well Anna. I did sleep good. Mercy made it through an entire night without waking. I think this is a big achievement." he explained, smiling when Mercy's head perked up at the sound of her name. He sighed softly as he leaned back. "It'll be too soon when she'll be going on her first date." he whispered.
Anna nodded "I slept very well" he continued telling her that Mercy slept straight through the night and it made her happy to see that he was proud of his daughter "I'm happy to hear that, she's getting so big" Anna said as she looked at Mercy in her play yard who responded by jerking her head up at the mention of her name "She'll be a little heart-breaker that's for sure" she remembered people saying that about her but in the last three years since she met Mikel Anna hadn't even thought about dating only ever wishing that Mikel could see how much she loved him. "so what's your plan for today?" she asked wondering if she could spend the day with him since she didn't have to work at all.

Mikel turned to her and thought for a moment. "Just helping with patrol." He explained as he looked at her then over at Mercy again. He folded his paper before setting it aside. "What are you up to today?" he asked her as he sat back again and flded his arm across his lap.
Anna shrugged her shoulders "I don't have a shift at the cafe today so I thought I could help you out" she said as she smiled "Going on patrol would be fun if you would like the company" she loved spending time with Mikel and wanted to show him how much she loved him, that was why it was so easy for him to get her to do things but it always bugged her because she was sure that Mikel only ever saw her as a really good friend.

"No, i need you here to look after Mercy. With her starting to teeth this early, she will be too fussy for the other wolves to handle." he explained, knowing who Mercy got along best was her, aside from him. He smiled at her. "As thanks, i will take you with me tonight when she is asleep." he cotinued as he watched the infant squirm before sneezing.
Anna nodded, she understood what Mikel was saying since she and Mercy were really close and she was able to handle the little girl at the worst of times. Anna didn't have a problem helping Mikel out but she had to admit she would rather be out with him although she loved Mercy like her own she still wanted to spend her time with her Alpha. "Alright I'll hold you to that" Anna smiled when she saw Mercy sneeze, she would never be upset to watch the cute little girl

Nodding, Mikel stood. "For now, its time for someone's nap. And she will fight." he explained before going to Mercy and hoisting her into the air. She giggled and tried to curl up as she did, holding onto her father when she was laid against his chest. "Ill put her to bed then ill be off." he explained before heading to his room (exit)

Elsie smiled as she entered the living room, passing Mikel and Mercy as those two left. "Hey Mikel, hey Mercy." she said happily, giving the baby a quick kiss on the cheek. Mikel was like a brother to her and Mercy her little niece. She loved them both immensely, along with the rest of her pack, and couldn't imagine life without them. Turning her attention to the living room again, she noticed Anna was there was well. "Oh, hey Anna. Not working at the cafe today?"

Anna smiled when her best friend came into the living room "No I'm not scheduled for today so I'm playing babysitter for Mikel" honestly Anna did not mind watching Mercy for Mikel since she loved the girl like it was her own daughter due to her stupid infatuation with Mikel who was clearly oblivious to her feelings. "What are you up to today?" she asked Elsie as she watched Mikel leave.
"I don't have much going on, to be honest." Elsie explained as she sat down in a chair. She glanced at the exit a moment before looking at Anna again. "You know, I could watch Mercy for you if you want to hang out with Mikel or something." She knew all too well that Anna had feelings for the alpha. It was rather obvious though Mikel remained clueless, as men often do.

Anna smiled "That's really nice of you but I don't mind watching Mercy" she said as she looked at her friend sitting in the opposite chair "I have plans with Mikel for after his rounds tonight." Anna said with a bright wide smile she was so happy she was going to get alone time with her favorite person in the world.
