Yeah, I thought it was a weird way of putting it too. But everyone seems to have run with the thought that it's been debunked, which isn't 100% the case at all. Maybe come E3 we'll see something substantial?

If they actually go through with this, I'd be super excited.

I thought I heard that it was cancelled, I could be wrong though. I wouldn't mind it, but I am curious as to what story line they might follow or if they will make a completely new storyline. A Majora's Mask storyline might confuse the hell out of people, especially with all the time travel in it. Not a lot of people liked Twilight Princess (I LOVED it) so perhaps not that. I don't know, not a lot of video games translate to movies well, so I wonder if the same might be said about a t.v. series.

It wasn't canceled, it was never planned in the first place. Nintendo confirmed there was never any negotiation with Netflix to create the series.

How sad!!!
Kind of wish I had the forthought (and ability tech know how) to have saved the fan made movie that was released a few years ago before Nintendo shot that down too.

Hearing that Nintendo never negotiated to make a series on Netflix, kinda reminds me of that super-awesome( yet fake) trailer for a Legend of Zelda movie.
