Appearance: Rin has an lanky but somewhat athletic build to his body. His height is about 5'11, and his weight is 211 lbs total. His body is nearly unblemished, with only one scar marking him. This scar runs from his right shoulder to his left abdominal muscles. Rin has always had very bad eyesight, so he is constantly wearing glasses. His eye color is a very bright emerald green, while his hair color is a daunting black, and for his skin color, Rin is weirdly pale, despite constantly being outside.
Now being a Captain, Rin's appearance is different any other Captain. Rin modified his uniform, making it more tight-fitting in order to be rid of the cumbersome distractions of the Captain's attire. He instead commandeers the Captain's Hiori, using it for a vest, rather than a cape, cutting short rather than letting it hang.

Fears: Betrayal of trust, mass death occurring around him, and oddly enough, the opposite gender. It can become bad when facing females, but it is particularly bad when facing female enemies, causing Rin to be overly cautious when it's not practical or needed. Personality: Rin is a very introverted but strangely friend kind of individual. To put it plainly, to people Rin does not know, he will seem very cold and distant. For people he actually associates with, Rin can be very friendly, even to a extreme ins some cases. A very eccentric and intelligent person, Rin has a tendency of analyzing situations, even when he does not need to. A flaw in his character, however, is Rin's apparent wrath. At it's best, it causes him to focus and pay attention to details. At worst, it can cause Rin to become reckless and cause him to aim for bloodshed, and even lose control.
History: Rin was a pretty normal kid living outside of the Souls Society's reach. Life was hard, being a essentially normal orphan in these trying conditions, but, Rin soon found friends in three other orphan boys. Together, they where able to escape constant hunger and homelessness. These where fun times, regardless of the harshness they had to go through. And so, years passed this way.
Then, these four grew up, and all of them, except Rin, had decided to join the Academy to be Shinigami. Rin did not want to join, wanting no more hardship after his childhood, but, he was eventually swayed because his childhood friends had explained that they didn't want the group to be apart. After starting, Rin discovered he could not do well. He constantly failed tests, even with help from his friends that he treasured so much. To make matters worse, he constantly went head-to-head with the star pupil of his class, a girl who had a distaste for men. With plenty of help, though, Rin managed to stave off expulsion. A small exhibition was soon planned for he students, to be on a hollow-hunting trip in the hollow forest outside of the Sereitei. Rin signed up after much debating, seeing this as an opportunity to train in real combat. The first leg of the exhibition went off without a hitch. As night fell, screams began to call out in the night. After investigating, Rin and his friends found the mangled bodies killed by someone going berserk. Rin then went paranoid with fear, and hid himself. Rin heard the deaths of his friends soon after, which only heightened his fear and awakened his despair. Rin rushed blindly to find some help, to find some solace, only to come face-to-face with the killer. It was the star pupil, who had went over the deep end for some odd reason that Rin would never know. Instead of outright killing him, she toyed with Rin, tormenting him over he deaths of his only friends. This made Rin feel sorrow, but, eventually the only emotion he felt was wrath. Anger at the situation, anger towards the killer, and self-loathing for himself. This motivated Rin when simply being in the right didn't. So when his tormentor moved in for the kill, she was greeted with deadly resistance. This dance of death caused Rin to be in critical condition when help finally remarried for survivors. He had survived, but, the incident would stay with him for years to come, thanks to the scar upon his chest. After two weeks of recovery, Rin decided to become a full-fledged Shinigami to honor the memory of his friends. This was the motivation that Rin used to become a Shinigami. Originally, Rin joined Squad Eleven, mostly to prove himself in battle. Unfortunately, the philosophy and mentality of the Squad was a bad match for Rin. He wanted to fight, but, he didn't want to be the first to fight, as he felt that if he was there, he'd die before doing anything substantial. So, being a fouth seat officer at the time, Run announced his transfer for Squad Two. After transferring, Run found that the difficult and bloody sword techniques he learned in Squad Eleven were sublime when used in assassination. It was Rin's dream position, being able to change things through fighting, but, not being in direct danger. It was Rin's prowess in eliminating his targets that elevated his status to Captain after three years of work.

Much like the Dash technique, Air Slide is initiated when the user pushes off of the ground and in a certain direction. However, Air Slide allows one to "glide" across the ground or up a steep surface.

The user collects a fairly large amount of spiritual energy at both of their feet then releases all of it at once, sending them flying at high speeds in a single direction. This is generally used to get a higher vantage point or to get atop of higher buildings. This technique is more effective than Jump because it can send a person 15 meters skyward.
Senka (閃花, Flash Blossom) - Shunpo Required
While performing a high-speed movement similar to Shunpo, the user slashes at their target. Essentially the attack happens with the unseen movement so it almost always guarantees a hit unless the opponent can avoid the attack by using another appropriate Hoho technique in response.
Rei Senkou - Shunpo Required
The user moves so fast that they are able to create 2 doppelgangers to fight alongside them for a while (two posts, including the post of activation). The doppelgangers can use anything known by the user while in existence.

The user moves so fast in a single instant that they leave an afterimage behind. The afterimage may even appear to have taken damage if it is injured. The afterimage may perform one action while it is available.

This stance allows for a quick draw of the sword should it be needed and allows the practitioner to quickly gather Reiryoku into a weapon should it be capable of channeling spiritual energy. Depending on the situation or the practitioner's preference, this may be done while kneeling or upright.
Hōzuri | 頬摺 | Cheek Stroke
A simple but precise slash technique. The move is capable of displacing air just enough for the displaced air to to deal light concussive damage nearby targets even if they are slightly out of the blade's range. A blade is required to perform this technique. It should be noted that it is matter and not Reiatsu or Reiryoku that is displaced.
Shitonegaeshi | 褥返し | Cushion Return - Hōzuri required
A Narrow and or blunt object is needed for this ability to be used. Another way of performing this technique is a narrow and or blunt blade. This object aims to subdue an opponent. The practitioner will aim at a cluster of nerve with the tip of their weapon and perform a quick jab without touching said target. The move will displace air and deal a concussive blow to the targeted area as though the tip of the weapon had extended into a blunt weapon. This will stun and knockdown an untrained opponent should it hit home.

Name: Magatsu Yasei-Inu (Filth-tarnished Wild Dog)
Sealed Appearance: Unlike most Shinigami, Rin has two zanpakto instead of only one. The first is a katanna: a forest green colored hilt and circle shaped guard. (Most similar to what's called a Odachi.) The second is an unusual zanpakto, a ninja assassination blade, which is only half the length of a normal katanna, (mostly similar to what's called a Wakizashi, about 12 inches long, unlike the aforementioned katanna, which is 23 & 1/2 inches long.) and this zanpakto does not have a guard, and is colored a deathly black.
Zanpakto Spirit: Magatsu appears as a young boy dressed in a trench coat who always hides his gaze and is both wet and filthy to the touch, although that changes with Magatsu's wishes. Magatsu's hair is white, and his eyes are a startling crimson.The height and weight of Rin is translated to Magatsu, and Magatsu himself does not like Rin very much. Indeed their relationship is much like a student and a master, Magatsu with very strict ways to teaching Rin new ways to handle different situations. Personality wise, Magatsu is very violent, wanting to rush to violence at nearly every indication. Then again, he can be very patient as well, so Rin trusts him enough to accept his judgment on some occasions.
Release Command: "Shred through the threshold that binds us, Akatsuki Inu-Zenmetsu." (Dawn of the one who kills good.)
Shikai Appearance: No change in appearance other than Rin's zanpakto changing into a sepia-colored chainsaw, which has a pull cord to start the engine, a shining gleam like it happened to be newly made, and kanji upon the blade of the chainsaw that reads, "Swift Death to Evil".
Shikai Power-ups: Honto - Once Rin reaches the level of Shikai, his cutting power is increased exponentially, as Rin's zanpakto is able to cut through stone effortlessly. This already brings his deadly knowledge of Zanjustu to a whole another level, making sure that nothing can protect his enemies.
Shikai Abilities:
1. Mitsurou: This ability is activated by Rin activating he engine upon his chainsaw zanpakto. By channeling his reiatsu into his zanpakto, Rin "awakens" the lethality of his reiatsu, changing it into body-mincing blasts of reiatsu. Essentially, these blasts are a manifestation of Rin's cutting power, so when it makes contact, it is the effect as if he personally performed an attack. The maximum range of Rin's reiastu is about 10 feet. This ability, when used in succession, become weaker with every swing by Rin.

2. Aku-no-Kami: This ability gives life and form to Rin's shadow. It moves independently according to Rin's thoughts, as a downside, the shadow cannot physically touch living things, but can touch material things. The shadow cannot be damaged by by physical attacks, due to what it's made of, but, can be stuck down by energy based or even elemental attacks. Once destroyed, the time it takes to reform is about three posts.

3. Tsukiyomi-kai: This ability grants Rin the power to emit black smog from his body. The smog is denser than air, which means that it will fall slow to the ground once airborne. After coming into contact with a person, this smog will cause hallucinations, causing the person to perceive everything happening in an opposite view. Which means, if one where to be hit by this smog, and Rin where to attack them from the right, they would see him attacking form the left. The smog itself can last on it's own for about two posts.

Bankai Name: Magatsu Akumetsu-Inu (The Catastrophic Dog who kills evil)
Bankai Appearance: For Bankai, Rin's zanpakto takes the form of an Kanabo, a club studded with studs on the aggressive end. Rin's zanpakto is made of wood covered with iron, and is four feet long and colored black as night. As far as Rin's appearance goes, he is now clothed in traditional ninja grandmaster garb, and a scarf that appears wrapped around his neck. The scarf itself has Japanese kanji written upon it, and the kanji reads as follows "Swift Death to evil."
Bankai Power-ups: Kami - As Rin reaches Bankai, his speed and strength are doubled, hence, why he is able to lift the Kanabo, which is essential a club weapon, and still be able to move around swiftly. This ensures that his Hakudo and Hoho are more than just up to par when in Bankai, making his feet swift and his punches able to dislocate.
Bankai Abilities:
1. Magatsu Jibu: This ability allows Rin to create up to five (ninja) kunai at once. (And only fifteen may be in use at one time.) These counterfeit kunai are loaded with Rin's reiatsu, and if they happen to come into contact with another object with different, or even no reiatsu, these kunai will explode. The strength of the explosion is comparable to an Arrancar's Cero.
2. Magatsu Ameno-Sagiri: This ability grants Run to fire pressurized smog from any point on his body. The smog cannot be eliminated by normal means. This erases the ability for anyone with spiritual pressure to sense him, and, once inhaled, brings the enemy's worse nightmare, as an illusion, to life to torment them. (Now, for people who multiple fears, this will pull the most dangerous fear they have, not just some phobia.) The more times an opponent is hit, the worse their nightmare is for them. The minimum amount of time for the smog is three posts, while the maximum amount of time for the smog is six posts. The maximum time an enemy will be afflicted is five posts, while the minimum is only two.

3. Megami: This ability can only be in effect as long as Magatsu Ameno-Sagiri has already been active. Once exposed to air, the smog will spawn clones of Rin. There can only be three present at a time, as long as the smog is active. Each clone only represents 1/4 of Rin's strength, and are controlled directly by Rin's thoughts. They are fragile, seeing as two well-placed strikes can destroy them, but, as long as the smog still exists, they can be spawned again.

In order to make assassination better, Rin always carries at least ten smoke bombs to cover his tracks, and an additional assassin blade, regardless of his zanpakto. The smoke bombs are made by himself, so he doesn't have to rely on anyone else to create them. This is to ensure no problems in a hand-to-sword fighting situation.

By channeling his reiatsu into his zanpakto, Rin "awakens" the lethality of his reiatsu, changing it into body-mincing blasts of reiatsu. Essentially, these blasts are a manifestation of Rin's cutting power, so when it makes contact, it is the effect as if he personally performed an attack. The maximum range of Rin's reiastu is about 10 feet. This ability, when used in succession, become weaker with every swing by Rin.

2. Aku-no-Kami: This ability gives life and form to Rin's shadow. It moves independently according to Rin's thoughts, as a downside, the shadow cannot physically touch living things, but can touch material things. The shadow cannot be damaged by by physical attacks, due to what it's made of, but, can be stuck down by energy based or even elemental attacks. Once destroyed, the time it takes to reform is about three posts.

3. Tsukiyomi-kai: This ability grants Rin the power to emit black smog from his body. The smog is denser than air, which means that it will fall slow to the ground once airborne. After coming into contact with a person, this smog will cause hallucinations, causing the person to perceive everything happening in an opposite view. Which means, if one where to be hit by this smog, and Rin where to attack them from the right, they would see him attacking form the left. The smog itself can last on it's own for about two posts.

Bankai Status: Achieved
Bankai Name: Magatsu Akumetsu-Inu (The Catastrophic Dog who kills evil)
Bankai Appearance: For Bankai, Rin's zanpakto takes the form of an Kanabo, a club studded with studs on the aggressive end. Rin's zanpakto is made of wood covered with iron, and is four feet long and colored black as night. As far as Rin's appearance goes, he is now clothed in traditional ninja grandmaster garb, and a scarf that appears wrapped around his neck. The scarf itself has Japanese kanji written upon it, and the kanji reads as follows "Swift Death to evil."
Bankai Power-ups: Kami - As Rin reaches Bankai, his speed and strength are doubled, hence, why he is able to lift the Kanabo, which is essential a club weapon, and still be able to move around swiftly. This ensures that his Hakudo and Hoho are more than just up to par when in Bankai, making his feet swift and his punches able to dislocate.
Bankai Abilities:
1. Magatsu Jibu: This ability allows Rin to create up to five (ninja) kunai at once. (And only fifteen may be in use at one time.) These counterfeit kunai are loaded with Rin's reiatsu, and if they happen to come into contact with another object with different, or even no reiatsu, these kunai will explode. The strength of the explosion is comparable to an Arrancar's Cero.
2. Magatsu Ameno-Sagiri: This ability grants Run to fire pressurized smog from any point on his body. The smog cannot be eliminated by normal means. This erases the ability for anyone with spiritual pressure to sense him, and, once inhaled, brings the enemy's worse nightmare, as an illusion, to life to torment them. (Now, for people who multiple fears, this will pull the most dangerous fear they have, not just some phobia.) The more times an opponent is hit, the worse their nightmare is for them. The minimum amount of time for the smog is three posts, while the maximum amount of time for the smog is six posts. The maximum time an enemy will be afflicted is five posts, while the minimum is only two.

3. Megami: This ability can only be in effect as long as Magatsu Ameno-Sagiri has already been active. Once exposed to air, the smog will spawn clones of Rin. There can only be three present at a time, as long as the smog is active. Each clone only represents 1/4 of Rin's strength, and are controlled directly by Rin's thoughts. They are fragile, seeing as two well-placed strikes can destroy them, but, as long as the smog still exists, they can be spawned again.

~Other Information~
Assassination Tools:
In order to make assassination better, Rin always carries at least ten smoke bombs to cover his tracks, and an additional assassin blade, regardless of his zanpakto. The smoke bombs are made by himself, so he doesn't have to rely on anyone else to create them. Also, in addition to the modifications to his attire, Rin has added lightweight metal bracers to his arms, or specifically, his palms. This is to ensure no problems in a hand-to-sword fighting situation.
