Character Data

Power: Defense
Strength: Gourmet Cells, Appetite Energy
Weakness: Average strength and speed
Weapon of Choice: Bones
Special Ability: Due to the Gourmet Cells being injected directly into her skeleton, Blair can use her Gourmet Cells to manipulate her own bones, even removing them through her skin and regrowing them.

Equipment:
-Bone Weaponry: Blair can phase her own bones out of her body and immediately regrow them, allowing them to serve as weapons. She can also harden them to the point of being unbreakable and sharpen their edges to cut through stone.
-Gourmet ID: Blair is at least good about keeping her Gourmet ID updated.
-Super Gel Dero Doro Drink: A health drink produced by a pharmaceutical company, it was intended as a nutritional supplement, but people who tried it found it tasted nasty and had a gross texture. No one wanted it, so the pharmaceutical company dumped their entire supply in an abandoned building within the slums of Nerg City. Blair just happened to find them, and though hating them at first, found they were a heavy case of an acquired taste. Each can boasts 5,000 kilocalories, equivalent to ten meals. Considering Blair's gluttonous appetite, they're one of the few things that can sate her hunger and thirst. Naturally, they can be used for a quick recovery of calories, but Blair only has a limited supply, since she couldn't take the entire pile of cases with her when she left Nerg City to become a Gourmet Hunter. As such, she only has five on hand, and they're for emergencies only. If she uses them up, she'll need to return to Nerg City (ugh) and pick up more from her hiding spot.
-Military Ration Pellets: The precursor to Food Tablets, Military Ration Pellets are brown marble-sized pellets with an earthy taste and grainy texture that restore quite a bit of calories. Each pellet restores about 100 calories, and each bag contains about 25 pellets. Blair currently only has one bag on her, as she only found this one by chance.
-MREs: Meals, Ready-to-Eat. They're dehydrated military meals that come in breakfast, lunch, and dinner variations. Breakfast is oatmeal, an apple, and coffee. Lunch is a hot dog, potato chips, and apple juice. Dinner is a steak, broccoli, and milk. They're all dehydrated, so you need to add water into the bag. Most refer to them as Meals, Ready-to-Upheave. Each one restores 10,000 calories, but can't be eaten on the go or in battle, and Blair only has one of each right now.
-Picnic Lunch: Essentially bento boxes. Good for a quick lunch on the go. Blair has two in her satchel right now. Each restores 15,000 calories.
-Beef Jerky: Strips of meat dried on a clothesline in the sunshine for days and seasoned with any available spices. They're often a staple of the hungry population of Nerg City, so Blair quite enjoys them, and currently has about ten strips on her. Each strip restores 1,000 calories, though they can also be used to lure meat-eating beasts and animals.
-Trail Mix: A bag filled with nuts, sugary cereal, dried fruit slices, and chocolate candies. Good for nourishment on the go, each bag restores 1,000 calories, and Blair currently has three in her satchel.
-Calorie Mate: A special nutritional cookie somewhat like shortbread, it comes in blocks packed full of nutrients in various flavors. Intended as a dietary supplement by a pharmaceutical company in Nerg City, Blair has taken a shine to them, as each box of Calorie Mate "Block" restores 5,000 calories. She currently has about three boxes in her satchel: Chocolate, cheesecake, and fruit. They're quite tasty, if a bit dry.
-Energy Drink: A potent mixture of sugar, caffeine, non-carbonated water, and various fruit flavors mixed into a very tart drink. Restores 1,500 calories per bottle, and Blair has five of them in her satchel.
-Protein Drink: A milkshake packed with protein to help you recover. No lactose, so it doesn't need to be chilled. Restores 10,000 calories per carton, but Blair only has one right now.
-Energy Gel: The opposite of protein drinks, energy gel helps you prime your body for heavy work. Each tube of gel, when consumed, gives 500 "temporary calories" that can exceed the maximum total. Blair currently has five tubes.
-Power Bar: Energy bars that help fill your stomach and nourish your body. Chocolate peanut butter flavor. Each bar restores 2,500 calories, but Blair only has one left.
-Pocky: Blair's favorite snack, a biscuit stick dipped in cream. Her favorite is the strawberry flavor. Each box restores 100 calories, though Blair has quite an ample supply. About ten boxes.
-Bottled Water: Though not very tasty, it's become painfully obvious by now that Blaire carries a lot of food in her satchel due to her ravenous appetite, and that includes plenty of bottles of water to wash some of her snacks down with. Each bottle restores 5 calories, and the amount she has on her is frequently changing as she drinks them and restocks them.

Movelist:

Funny Bone: Blade - Removing her own humerus through her shoulder, Blair creates an extremely sharp blade made of strengthened bone and a bone handle. Due to Blair’s mastery of her own bones, it is light as a feather, stronger than steel, and sharp enough to cut through stone. This is her most basic attack, and she can even toss these blades to others to use, or form two of them to dual-wield. Consumes 1,000 calories per Bone Blade produced.

Leg Bone: Spear - An alternative to Blair’s Blades, she can fashion an entire leg into a long spear, with her foot fashioned into a spear head of spiraling toe bones. It has a longer reach than her Blades, and more piercing power, but not as much versatility.

Pelvic Bone: Axe - For when more force and stopping power is needed than her Blades, Blair can make an axe out of her own pelvic bone, the actual pelvic bone sharpened and her thigh bone acting as the handle. Blair usually uses it to break through defenses or demolish obstacles.

Arm Bone: Hammer - When blunt force is needed, Blair can fashion an entire hand and forearm into a large hammer, with her fist acting as the head. She often uses it to break down obstacles or crack open hard carapaces.

Skull: Ball and Chain - Removing her own skull and a length of spine along with it, Blair grows some bony protrusions along her skull, fashioning it into a spiked ball and chain, sort of a flail without a handle. Though a rather interesting and useful weapon, Blair dislikes using it, since removing her own skull feels weird to her.

Spine: Whip - Reaching for the back of her neck, Blair can remove her own spine, growing more of it as she pulls it out, fashioning it into a segmented whip, with the vertebrae even sharpening to act as a thorned whip, and the tail bone as a sharp tip. Not as much force behind it as her other bone weapons, but quite a bit of versatility and style. Consumes 2,000 calories per length of spine produced.

Spine: Rope - An alternative to her Whip. Blair can remove her spine and completely remove the sharp protrusions from the vertebrae, so it can act as a harmless rope. This makes it useful for tying things up or climbing down cliffs. Consumes 1,000 calories for every length of spine produced.

Finger Bang Bullets - Blair’s only true projectile attack, she can fashion her fingertip bones into bullets and fire them from her fingertips with surprising force, even adding spin to the resulting projectiles. She can fire ten in quick succession, one from each finger, before she must ‘reload’ by regrowing her fingertip bones. Consumes 100 calories for each bullet fired.

Dead Bone Pulse - Blair can heal with her bone powers as well. By touching a person’s injury, she can mend and repair their broken, fractured, shattered, etc. bone. It takes surprisingly little calories for her, though it has limited uses. Consumes 500 calories per bone mended.

Ultimate Defense: Dead Bone Counter - From any part of her body, Blair can sprout long, thin, incredibly sharp bony protrusions. They can appear very suddenly, allowing her to block and even counter an enemy’s physical attack. If a melee attack, the weapon will be caught within the spiky mess. If an unarmed attack, the enemy may find their arm or leg skewered. It takes a lot of calories to maintain, however, especially with repeated use.

Ultimate Offense: Dead Bone Dance - Blair sprouts long, thin, sharp bones from the following points of her body: Her shoulders, her elbows, the palms of her hands, her hips, her knees, and the end of each foot. She then runs through her enemies, striking them with all her different bones in a wild dance. Blair tends to get a bit carried away with this attack, as the graceful and dance-like movements remind her of her days as a stripper, and may find herself stripping without realizing it. It is, however, the perfect move to dispatch groups of weaker enemies.

Last Resort: Sub-Dermal Exoskeleton - As a very last resort to massive amounts of damage, Blair can form an entirely new network of bones as a complete exoskeleton just underneath her skin. This allows her to even withstand being crushed by an entire skyscraper or giant boulder, but takes an incredible amount of calories to activate and maintain, and thus is not intended for casual conflict.

Intimidation: Blair can summon her Appetite Demon to scare low-level beasts away.

Character Description

User Image

Intimidation: Humorously, her Appetite Demon takes the form of a rather hideous leprechaun.

Personality:
Having fought to survive most of her life, Blair is no-nonsense and has little patience for the tomfoolery of those around her. She demands perfection from everyone in her life, and even more so from herself. A spitfire, she's more likely to punch you in the shoulder for being sweet than give you a hug or kiss. Rather, when people treat her with charm and romantic affection, Blair often isn't one to know what to do, often responding in anger due to her own awkwardness.
Blair is really a caring, kind girl deep down. She just hides it behind a serious attitude and front of anger that makes her seem downright bitchy, though she claims she's assertive and strong-willed. Uncomfortable with her own weaknesses, she hides them from others, lest she fall into the same situation that ended in her lifetime of street life and poverty in Nerg City.
Height: Five feet tall, barely
Weight: 135 lbs.
Eye Color: Bright green
Hair Color: Ginger red
Your Voice Actor: Tara Strong (Juliet Starling, "Lollipop Chainsaw")
Your Song: "Somewhere I Belong" by Linkin Park

Background Information

Blair was born in Nerg City, to a mother and father who owned a bar. Though at first a happy baby, Mrs. O'Hanrahan soon fell into postpartum depression. Not willing to tell her husband about it for fear of divulging her weakness, she soon grew thoughts of harming her own baby, and dropped a toaster in the bathtub before she could do so. Though Mr. O'Hanrahan tried to carry on without his wife, raising their daughter alone, he soon fell into a state depression due to her loss. He took to drinking heavily, and when Blair was only five years old, he hung himself from the ceiling fan of his bar.
Blair was sent to live with her uncle who also lived in Nerg City. Unlike her father, he blamed her for his brother's death. Though he never abused her, he often left her to fend for herself. It was during her stay with her uncle that Blair put up her tough persona to avoid getting hurt or people at school worrying about her. Having to find food on her own, she took to stealing from local bakeries and delis. Thus came her absolute favorite food: Ham and cheese sandwiches. Simple, but they got her through tough nights locked out of her uncle's house.
Having been neglected by the adults in her life, Blair started acting out to gain attention, often picking fights with kids bigger and stronger than her who preyed on others. Though only a bullier of bullies, the fights she caused made her rather unpopular with the faculty of her high school. When she turned eighteen, she ran away from home, not even bothering with her graduation. She managed to get a job at a local club, dancing and taking her clothes off for money. She did this for one year, finding it quite enjoyable, but after the club's owner started hitting on her, and she resisted, he fired her. Faced with no job or high school diploma, no family, no friends, and very little to look forward to in life, she realized she needed to leave Nerg City for good. Gathering what she could from her "Secret Hideout" in an abandoned pharmaceutical company only she could enter, the ginger set out to become a Gourmet Hunter. The Gourmet Yakuza, who often helped her out in the past like they did many of the poor of Nerg City, was happy to help her out with an injection of Gourmet Cells they stole from some Gourmet Corps shipments, though they ended up pricking her too far and injecting it directly into her bones. Now Blair is a fully-certified Gourmet Hunter, though she has yet to capture a single ingredient, and is just getting her start.

Blair doesn't even have an idea for what she wants on her Full Course Menu due to just starting out. She's not looking for any particular theme, but definitely wants only the tastiest ingredients and dishes. Currently, she has wild ideas of immediately hunting for extremely rare and dangerous ingredients, unaware of the difficulty or danger of getting them.

Hors d'Oeuvre: Undecided (foolishly considering Blue Blood Corn)
Soup: Undecided (foolishly considering Century Soup)
Salad: Undecided (foolishly considering Ozone Herb)
Fish Dish: Undecided (foolishly considering Puffer Whale)
Meat Dish: Undecided (foolishly considering Jewel Meat)
Main Course: Undecided (foolishly considering Billion Bird)
Dessert: Undecided (foolishly considering Rainbow Fruit)
Drink: Undecided (foolishly considering Mellow Cola)

Yeah, even Blair's not crazy enough to go after GOD as her Main Course. She is, however, dumb enough to consider Billion Bird for it.

Background Information

The night Blair first got locked out of her uncle's house, she wandered around Nerg City, trying to avoid the gang violence and muggers. It was while passing through an abandoned industrial area, she discovered an old pharmaceutical company that shut down due to a police raid when it started doing unsavory things due to the difficulty for businesses to make it in the slums of Nerg City. Sneaking in through a secret entrance she found only she could fit through with her "under five feet height", she found the pharmaceutical company had left many of their supplies there, including quite a large supply of nutritional supplements with high calories. But she also found a pet project that the company kept there.

At first, Blair wasn't sure what it was. It was clearly dog-like, but its fur was blue-green, its eyes were glowing red, and it had exposed flesh and a missing leg that didn't seem to bother it. It growled at her, but Blair reached her hand out and offered it a ham and cheese deli sandwich instead. The hungry canine smelled the food, and realizing it was safe, gingerly plucked it from the ginger's hand, and a lifelong bond was formed.

The pharmaceutical company, Phenotrans, as Blair found out through their research papers, had apparently just begun a project of injecting Gourmet Cells into animals. They had only created this creature before they had to lock up and abandon their lab due to an upcoming police raid, leaving their experiment behind. It seemed that, though injection of Gourmet Cells, this ordinary puppy had indeed gained powers. Much stronger and much faster than even most wolves, its bite could take down a bear, they found. Though not capable of cellular regeneration, it could resurrect itself upon death, even reattaching all its dismembered parts through Appetite Energy. In addition, the dog was quite poisonous. It seemed any beast that ate it, even beasts with powerful poisons themselves, immediately died after consuming it, and the dog would just resurrect itself after being eaten. The Gourmet Cells, however, seemed to have a decaying effect on the dog's flesh, even turning his eyes luminescent red and its fur blue-green.

Realizing she had found a powerful ally, and a cute (in her opinion) pet, she named the "zombie dog" Rob Zombie, and he's been protecting her and keeping her company ever since. Though just starting out as a Gourmet Hunter and quite green, Rob may just give her a fighting chance out there.
