Pretty simple really just follow the template.
I will be absent for (insert time frame of expected absence).
My character will be (insert creative solution to what has happened to your character in your absence. Ex- Captured in a government facility or hiding underground.)
The reason I ask you to let us know about what has happened to your character is if anyone is rping with your character they need to know what you wanted to happen to them so the other rper can adjust appropriately, like if characters were mid conversation they won't have to wait on you to continue.
