You know what it's lacking? More boss cut scenes, and a "Solaire" character.

Also, you can't deny the fact that the final boss is very disappointing. Like VERY. I mean in Dark souls 1, you knew that was the end. But in Dark Souls 2, I was very surprised when the game ended. I didn't know that was the end. And the boss was ridiculous. It needed better music too. Something epic, like Gwyn's boss music.

Okay, rant done.

I go to find a hentai community on here and I find this. <3 Just as good. ^.^

Strangely enough, I kinda liked Blighttown. But, I also skipped most of it most of the time. ^.^ But I just like the creepy atmosphere. I like it better than the poison place in DS2, honestly. Although I enjoy not falling of platforms as much as I did in Blighttown.

Like and blight town don't belong in the same sentence.. unless there is a don't somewhere in it as well. Toxic snipers with absurd range, a maze of ladders with odd agro conditions for the enemies there, mosquitoes that bug through the floor and walls, can fly and hit you off ledges, the entire floor is poison, and dear god the slowdoooooooooo- *loading* wn! >.> I swear the developers put ms.toplessspider as the boss to compensate. Aye, I usually go through the backdoor too, get the key as my gift every time just for that. As for the poison place in DS2 I found it really short, and there is 2 bonfires in it; and the only enemies on the main path are stationary unless you approach them, so you can mad dash through the place. (though be wary of worms).

Ds2 seems to be a bit more vauge in how everything is presented. Keeping dark sad tales hard rooted in the story. With the end king we see that he has essentially lost his way and realized that nothing changes, and you cant alter the future as it will continue to repeat. Understanding this has destroyed him and by selecting NG, BOTC is accepting that same truth. In my own veiw lol. I still think its a great game in its own right.

Dark Souls 2 did not had the kick and curved sword flip and the armor for the old dragonslayer

There was a well-thought out youtube review by Writing on Games on why he didn't like DS2, and while I just started playing DS1 and I'm only in Blighttown, I really love the game so far and in the weirdest way it does make me hopeful and helps with my depression.
DS2 doesn't seem to have quite the same qualities, and almost throws the lack thereof in people's faces.
