Bio
Selena is a pureblood witch that grew up believing she was only half. How could she not when her mother was a pureblood and the man she believed was her father was a muggle. She had begged and pleaded with her elderly mother if it was true, that she wasn't a pureblood. Her mother never gave her a straight answer. This annoyed Selena to no end. Which was obvious from how often her eyes changed color along with her hair. That was one thing that she couldn't completely understand, why did her body do that. One moment she would have black hair like her mother, and the next it would be blond or even purple.

It wasn't until she received her letter from Hogwarts, addressed to Selena Prince, she was able to learn what she really was. She was a Metamorphmagus. A trait that is only hereditary in most cases. Which would mean that someone in her mothers family might of had the trait or the person she believes really is her father gave it to her. Which to her sounded more believeable that her enheariting a special trait from her useless mother. The thought of that made Selena sick. There had to be something wrong with her mother to let a man as useless as her father beat her for no reason besides existing.

When she arrived at Hogwarts, Selena was so scared. She was afraid she would mess up and reveal that she was a Metamorphmagus. She was scared that it would cause people to distance themselves from her. Selena was tough but the thought of being alone more than she already was frightened her. She wanted to make friends at Hogwarts, wanted to have a life outside of home. So she kept her ability in check. As much as she could anyways. But after seeing the great hall, she couldn't hold it in any longer. Her hair started to change colors, along with her eyes. It was so many colors she wasn't able to list them off to anyone she told the tale to. Everyone just stared at her. Then they all started hoping around her, wanting her to do it again. They liked it, they had only heard about it, they had never thought they would meet someone like her.

When things calmed down finally, long enough for it to be her turn to be sorted, she was placed into, of all houses, Slytherin. Which was to be expected. Her mother was sorted into that house along with most of her family. But what about her real father? From what the hat was saying, it couldn't make up its mind to either put her in Hufflepuff or Slytherin. Which piqued her curiosity even more to find the truth about her lineage.

After attending Hogwarts for a couple of years, Selena was finally able to do research on her family line on her mothers side. It turned out she was right, the trait she has didn't come from her mothers side. Which means before she was born, her mother was with another man. This was the happiest news Selena had ever recieved. She wasn't related to that terrible man. But who gave her this gift? There was a chance that she would never know and part of her was ok with that. But after doing this research of hers she found out something, something that shocked her more than anything. She had a brother.

Well to be technical, he was only a half brother. But who it was shocked her the most... It was her potions teacher and head of house, Severus Snape. She didn't want to say anything to him about it, about their connection. Last thing she wanted was for him to treat her differently from the others. She continued to keep her mouth shut till the very end. Which was a mistake. After Severus was killed, one of her features finally stuck, her hair. It remains as black as his. But her eyes, the continue to change as does the rest of her now that she has control over it.

After she graduated, Selena went off on her own. She had no choice, her parents had disappeared. As far as she knew, her father was dead and her mother was in a different country. Which suited her just fine. She wanted to get the chance to live her life the way she wanted. Which included studying under many potions masters, a few charms masters, and some others that she couldn't remember. After doing all this, she was called back to Hogwarts to take up one of the teaching positions. She didn't give it much thought as to what she wanted to teach. The obvious answer was Potions. She was also given the title of Head of Slytherin. Ones that she is proud of holding since it was her brother's positions when she knew him.

Extra
Because she is a Metamorphmagus, she took on a different appearance so as not to look like her mother. She wanted to be pleasing to the eye. There are times where she will look really young and others when she will almost look her age.
