Rock just watched as Rabbit bounded off to help the others gather supplies. It looks like a few of them were teaming up for the little competition. He got his journal out so that he could note which foals brought what over, so they had good results.
Paper Tiger was the first to return with a bunch of sticks, into his journal that went. Rock glanced up at Kaiju who was collecting loose branches from the tree, smart.
There was some leaves around already so Rock started to gather them up for a pillow. They'd have to figure out how to move the mare so they could put the pillow of leaves under her head though. But if she could sleep through the commotion that was already going on, waking her wouldn't be an issue.

Why was he helping her win? Didn't Kaiju want to win?
She wasn't exactly sure of the motive, but the help was making it a lot easier. Maybe sticking together wasn't as bad as she thought it was.
Whatever. She'd worry about that later. Right now, Paper Tiger's only focus was getting to the other load of sticks and then getting them back to the sleeping mare. She had to keep her eye on the prize. There was no time for slacking off.

The blue mare gave a sudden loud snore, twitched a hoof and rolled onto her back. She was smiling but it became obvious, after a few minutes of nothing else happening, that she was indeed still asleep.
[I don't want to ruin your fun if you want to keep playing, so just let me know if/when you're ready for me to wake her up! <3]

The blue mare had started to move! "Guys, I think..."
Oh, never mind. Rock had thought the mare was finally waking up but it looks like she was just getting comfortable. Well, at least she looked happy and not bothered at all!

Satisfied that Paper Tiger would bring back enough of the branches to make a very nice pillow indeed, Kaiju started to stack branches around the sleeping mare. He was careful to avoid her hooves; she was twitching a bit in her sleep and he didn't want to get kicked. He glanced over at the little book the unicorn was writing in- looked like he'd been keeping a tally of who'd returned with what. "Hey, is it ok if I keep stacking these? I didn't think about it when I started, but I don't want to mess up the contest results an' all."
((I'm good for waking up, too!))

Rabbit turned slowly and nodded enthusiastically at the blue colt. "That would be awesome, thank you!" She pointed a hoof at a pile of fallen leaves and tucked her wings down a little. "If you pile them carefully with these others here between my wings that should carry the most of them! Then you can grab the rest with your mouth and we can head back!"
She lowered herself gently to the ground to make the whole ordeal easier and waited for Aquarius to get started.

If it's alright with everyone else, I'd like for Rabbit and Aquarius to at least be heading in that way before she wakes up. Sorry I've been so slow.
Aquarius nodded enthusiastically to the filly. "Alright!" he said, and began to do as she said, lifting wads of leaves and twigs and placing them carefully between her wings until it was mostly full.
"And now I'll get this," he said, grabbing the last bit with his mouth. Tasted like dirt, but it wasn't really all that bad... He'd just need to wash his mouth out later on or something. It was worth it to help out that sleeping mare!

Rock Sugar looked over at Kaiju and nodded. "Yeah, keep stacking, I am keeping track here!" The foal put a few marks in his journal for the sticks that the other purple foal had brought over, all up to date. "I thought she was waking up but still sleeping." He looked around and saw the other group heading back with more and started to tally theirs on their way over. The final count he would get when they got over.
Rabbit giggled as Aquarius put things on her back. The heavier the pile between her wings got, the more they tickled. She forced a "very serious" look onto her face, but broke it immediately with another huge grin. They were all set, then! She snagged an extra bit of leaves off of a low hanging branch with her mouth, and then they were off and heading in the direction of the sleeping mare and the other kids.
When she got there a few had blown away from her back and left a trail, but she set down what was left next to Kaiju and Paper Tiger's pile.
"That should do it! We can count the pile Aquarius and I did as we start building the pillows and dams. If everyone else thinks that's okay."

It was almost a shame that the foals had worked so hard to gather the sticks and branches only for Yawn to actually start waking up.
She rolled back onto her belly and was slowly sitting upright before she even opened her eyes. Yawn yawned, big and loud, her muddy white hair plastered to the side of her face.
"Mmrmg," she mumbled as she opened her eyes and looked around with a sleepy, smiling gaze. "O-oh hello." She didn't seem surprised at all to be surrounded by Babbens and in fact, was rather delighted. "I hope I'm not... interrupting your games... it's such a nice day for... for games..."
Her head drooped a bit.
"... mmm... I'll get out of your way... find Tangles... you play safe... lovely kids..,"
And with that the blue Phony stood and began trundling away.

Kaiju stood staring slack-jawed for a moment as the mare got up, then clapped his hooves together. "You guys! She's fine! We did it- we definitely protected her!" He threw a hoof around Rock Sugar's shoulder and shook it in congratulations. It was super nice to know that they'd watched over somebody- even if maybe she didn't need it. It was nice to protect and look out for others- after all, they're all in this together.
And speaking of being in things together... what was Paper Tiger doing after this? Kaiju liked the little filly's drive. Perhaps she'd be a willing sparring partner!
