It was a gentle evening in both weather and activity, and it left the unicorn in a very pleasant mood. Shaking out her mane, Avari lifted her head to gaze up at the sky for a moment, her dark eyes shimmering mysteriously before a gentle smile danced across her face. Great Mother permitting, it would be a great day. Drawing in a deep breath, she let it out slowly as she twisted to check in on the direction she'd left her napping foals. Time was passing so fast, already they were so grown. Strong and proud fillies and foals, the thought alone was enough to flood her being with a sense of accomplishment. They still had long to go before they could live on their own, but for now she was pleased to watch and hopefully teach them right. What was correct anymore though? Images of Varian's bonded calming relaxing with Vantalion and Nimmeth flashed in her mind and she snorted lightly. Perhaps it was just a trick?
Quickly putting the thoughts from her mind, the mare sighed once more as she settled down in the short grass of her glade, her tail gently flicking out behind her before curling around her small frame. Feeling the light heat of the sun scatter down through the leaves on her pale pelt was enough to send her into a state of relaxation, and she arched her neck to rest her nose softly on her knees as her eyes closed. Yet, she was plagued with an itch that today was too good of a day to be spent sleeping in the sun. Maybe she would sneak away for awhile while the foals were busy. Hmming softly, she twisted an ear back as a rustling came from her right and she opened an eye to peer in that direction, brows pulling together for a moment when she didn't see anything more then a few dancing leaves on the underbrush. Lifting her head a moment later, she scented the air before catching wind of one of her foals, snorting lightly, she called out. "Not tired, Aedelric?"
