Autumn grew up in a nice household. Her father was a wealthy man who was well respected in his area of work as a Lumberjack. Her mother was a paper-maker. Because the two of them weren't home often, her father left small axes for her to practice chopping down small trees in their backyard since it was obvious that Autumn was going to end up being a lumberjack like her father. Of course being young, Autumn thought the idea was stupid and didn't practice with axes as much. Rather she stayed outdoors and danced to the noises of the forest around her. Because her parents left her alone so much, she never really had people to talk to and kept things to herself. In school, she didn't have many friends and stayed alone more. Until she met this guy whom she fell inlove with almost instantly. The two of them hit it off for a while until he got bored and left her. Autumn was heartbroken and never left her room. The peacekeepers of the district noticed that Autumn wasn't showing up at school nor helping out within the district so they were going to place her under arrest for treason. Her father became angry and tried to convince them not to do such an unreasonable thing, but because of him stepping in, they took charge and instead of taking Autumn, they took her father instead. Autumn only found this out later by her mother. Her mother stated that her father was already ill and died soon after being taken away. Because of this, they lost a lot of money and almost lost their house. Autumn decided to work harder, but failed since she lost years of training. During the days where she should have been working, she decided to sneak away and climb high trees where she would stay and look down at her district, always wanting to leave and never come back.

Autumn is a socially awkward girl who falls inlove way too easily. Gullible only to love. She's rebellious to a sense and hates to do things like work. She hates peacekeepers due to her father, and strongly dislikes the Hunger Games.
