I haven't really been into the new gens all that much. It's all super complicated now with having specific stat training to make the perfect pokemon.

I just really enjoyed dicking around with a team of pokemon I thought looked cool. My pokemon teams are probably some of the worst you could put together OTL. I know my FireRed copy was mostly fire types.

WEll the beuaty of it is. YOU DONT HAVE TO do that kinda training stuff.
dont miss out on the newer gens for that. EV training has always been a thing. you choose to use it or not.

But yeah i never played any of the DS games, but I came back into Pokemon when X/y came out. and i've loved most the things since.
