As a child, Noiz was impatient and unintentionally violent, though this was attributed to his lack of the sense of feeling. Due to his affliction, he could never play with other kids because he didn't know what pain felt like to others, shrugging off any injuries he got, and being confused when other children reacted to their own injuries. When Noiz's parents found out how he was acting around others, he was seen as an embarrassment, which led him to being locked up and isolated from everyone else. However, he was given all the care he needed within the room that he was given by his parents. For years, he lived alone in his own little house, with a bedroom and a connected bathroom, daily meals, and a housekeeper were all provided, but no one ever aided him whenever he was sad and lonely. It was shown that in the beginning of his isolation, he would cry and get himself hurt due to his panic and fear. Appearance Description:Gintoki has natural wavy and silver-blue hair, and half-lidded claret colored "dead fish eyes" as Hijikata calls it. He wears a black shirt and pants with red linings, and a white yukata (a summer kimono) with light blue patterns worn sloppily, draped over his left shoulder. He also wears knee-length black boots with a buckle around the upper foot and top of the boot. He almost always keeps his wooden katana in his belt.

Personality: Gintoki has an incredibly funny side.
He acts like a coward most of the time, will attempt to leave behind his friends if his life is in danger, even though he is willing to risk his life for anyone, and is shown to be extremely caring towards his friends. Gintoki has shown to be protective of them, to the point of going as far as stabbing and killing Naraku members, terrorists and amantos when he tried to attack them. He is extremely scared of ghosts, but is very sensitive to their presence and many times will try to deny their existence.
He has many childish personality traits despite his age, calling himself a child in a man's body. One such trait is his love of sweets to the point of nearly developing diabetes. He is mostly seen eating or drinking something sweet, with strawberry milk being his favorite..
History:Gintoki was first found as a child by his teacher Yoshida Shouyou on the battlefield, surrounded by corpses and holding a riceball. Shouyou had heard there was a Corpse Eating Demon stripping and eating the insides of corpses but found out it was only a child eating a leftover riceball. Gintoki, cautious of Shouyou, drew a Katana from a dead body, which then led to Shouyou figuring that he was just a child stripping corpses to protect himself. Shouyou was impressed, but said that a sword swung in self defense while fearing others should be thrown away. He then threw his sword to Gintoki, saying that if he was interested in learning how to use the sword, he should follow him. Gintoki, drawn to Shouyou, decided to follow him and asked him for a piggy-back ride.
Under the care of Yoshida Shouyou, he learned the way of the Samurai, but sadly Yoshida had been murdered infront of Gintoki's eyes. This is where his journey began.
