In high school I was pretty fit. I lived in Arizona and attended ROTC and mountain biked every weekend. I was around 180 lbs and with alot of muscle. Actually I was pretty insecure because my friends were really scrawny I had muscles, some people told me that I had ma legs because they were so toned.

When I moved to the midwest, I became a little depressed. I was out of high school and just quit being active. I was still pretty lean now that I think about it, but I was beginning to lose muscle tone. I didn't like what I saw in the mirror and thought I was getting fat. I gained a whopping 10 lbs!

My cousin and I became workout buddies. We kept each other in check and did Pilates on a daily basis. I lost a little bit of weight, became more flexible and energized, I moved away from my cousin's house and I got bored with exercise, but still ate right, and even though I maintained a decent weight. I still just didn't like myself.

I was 150lbs when I got pregnant with my daughter and I gained 60lbs during the pregnancy. Which my doctor told me that it was all water retention, I still ate healthy, but I mostly ate peanut butter and banana sandwiches, it was the only thing I craved and so the only thing I ate!

After I had my daughter, about a month later I lost around 50lbs within the month by taking diuretics. I did calisthenics and pretty quickly came back to my pre pregnancy weight, but I still had a pooch and some pretty gnarly stretch marks. I tried and tried to get rid of that pooch but nothing worked

when she was just over a year I was pregnant with my son. I only gained 25 lbs but after he was born instead of losing that weight I just kept gaining. Eventually I was up to 233, which is the heaviest I've ever been. So I started to exercise again, I joined a gym but I just wouldn't lose any weight. It was very difficult but I cut out soda and I lost 15 lbs within a month, which was awesome since I had no luck before. So to this day I haven't had any soda. I figured that it's the main culprit of all my issues. I started eating pretty well, only lean meats and veggies, but this past weekend my in laws came over and I feel like all my efforts went to waste. but I'm not going to give up. I'm getting back on track right away!

Okay I haven't updated in a while!

I quit drinking soda at the begining of April..... I realized I was consuming four times the amount of calories that I need.....

Slowly I weaned myself away from surgar.... I made the boyfriend eat all the processed food and junk food we have so I don't have to look at it.

My diet became a just salad lean meats and granola to snack on.

I lost 10 pounds by the time of my daughters birthday party. we had cake and ice cream, the inlaws were over so we had alot of junk food, a little wont hurt right?

I gained five pounds back that weekend. but than I was committed to go on my diet even stricter. I went to the gym a couple times that week, I had to work alot so I wasnt able to go too much, but I drank lots of water before and after meals, used stairs instead of elevator etc...... I've lost 20 lbs to date so im pretty happy with the pace I'm going

Over this past weekend I went to a rock concert here in town.... I had alot to drink (not water) and didn't put on enough sunscreen. I went to the hospital with 2nd degree burns on my face mostly but also on my shoulders, back and chest. My kidneys were a little under functioning, but they gave me some fluids, steroids, antihistamines, pain medicine, and nausea medicine..... So I'm almost back to tip top shape!

Just no pats on the back please o.e

and the face is still pretty swollen and my vision is still kind of blurry but its getting better and better, and I no longer have oozing gross stuff on my face so YAY

So for the future..... I'm definitely going to drink alot more water, and wear better sunscreen, apply it more than once. the doctor told me 20 minutes before going out and every 2 hours while in the sun. Which honest to god I didn't know..... I actually never go out in the sun..... I work nights so usually the only sun I see is setting or rising. But me and the sun are not friends..... I can get my vitamin D from other places I guess! lol
