Just when I felt like speaking with some fellow aces, I see that the group's kind of inactive now. ;w;

Sad but true... I'll grant you, I was never that active in this guild, tbh.
Regardless, how are you doing? I'm always willing to chat w/ a fellow A.

Yeah, I can't complain too much since I took a long break from Gaia for over a year but then when I came back, I didn't really remember that this guild existed. sweatdrop I'm good! I finished university a few months back and I've been looking for a good job to start off my career. How about you?Jester25 I'm still here too. A lot of guilds have become inactive lately. Hi there! :3 I did notice that people have been posting much less in guilds now. Then again, there are fewer people all over gaia. Inflation's not helping at all.

Elena Kiara Hi there! :3 I did notice that people have been posting much less in guilds now. Then again, there are fewer people all over gaia. Inflation's not helping at all. I said the same thing the other day too when I noticed that there were 20,000 average online everyday. It used to be around 50,000 or more. They're definitely not helping anything with gold generators, it's probably scaring a lot of others off. I have a lot of gold and I still can't buy anything with it. It has become useless. I can see newer users being scared off because of it...

I was happy when I sold some expensive things and had 4B, but I only barely won one of the two art auctions I was bidding at. 4B is like what 1M used to be and even less by the day with inflation. It definitely made me want to just quit if I didn't have people I regularly talk to on Gaia. x-x

I finished mine almost a year ago, and I've been working at my college's IT department to get some experience. ~ Yeah, Gaia's gone a little crazy what with several announcements every day for new real-money items. I hadn't noticed the dropoff in activity, though I spend so much time in the guild system that I don't see the ticker often.

One of the aspects about RIGs that I like and hate is when they re-release some items to make the prices drop. I liked it when some of the items I was wishing for dropped in price, but some that I invested in dropped too. I bought a Panda Hat for over 300M and it's now at 80M. sweatdrop
Edit: Just checked the log and it was at 490M. emotion_facepalm

Gaia doesn't know how to balance its own economy w/ its own apparent upkeep costs. Did running Gaia really get so much more expensive, especially given the significant user dropoff?

Did running Gaia really get so much more expensive, especially given the significant user dropoff? Oh, nice! :3 I studied in Human Resources, so a recruitment firm is where I'm starting off. Though I'd have preferred something along the lines of a HR generalist position. What does your day-to-day work day look like?
Yeah, I'm thinking they prefer fewer members if many of them spend a lot compared to having many members that don't spend as much if we compare the percentages. sweatdrop

Oh, all right, neat. I mostly code for the database so college administration can view and edit student data w/o messing it up.
True, I doubt the members willi ng to fork over real money are the ones who left (on the whole, of course).
