The daughter of a flower shop and a wayward sellsword, Amalía has never gotten to know her father but she had a very happy childhood growing up with her mother in Florincea. Amalía was a normal child who lived a normal life and simply wanted to grow up a run the flower shop just like her mother, but that all changed one day. while Amalía was out making a delivery to a customer's house the gondola she was using to cross the canals was suddenly attacked underneath by a Grimm that snuck its way into the city. She was scared and thought she was done for but just in the neck of time a huntress came along and stopped the beast with her mighty spear. Amalía asked the huntress where she had learned to do what she just did and the huntress told Amalía of Esper academy. From that point on Amalía had became obsessed in becoming a huntress. Every day since then, after her and her mother would close up the flower shop, Amalía would take up her wooden spare and practiced until she felt she was good enough to try to become a huntress. She was successful in being accepted to check out Easper academy and is now on her way to fulfilling her dream of becoming a huntress and becoming the woman she was always meant to be.

Lancia is a weapon Amalía ordered and bought from the "Dust & Iron" manufacturing branch in her town after she had saved up enough earnings. It has a two handed grip at the base of the pole that when twisted it unleashes the blades hidden within the pole to make it the size of a Greatsword; all while still leaving the tip of the spear and the handle unchanged. Lancia also has a flexible alloy steel wire that's cover with small amount of fabric with a ring at the end of it, which can be thrown over the tip of the spear and clipped into a little niche near the base of the spear. It's held in place by a pin that can be released by a button located near the base of the spear and if needed the string can be retracted into the spear by pressing on two buttons at the top of the hand's grip located on opposite ends.
