Scarlett watched over the mongrels with a strange happiness inside her. The monster sat proudly next to her. The monster pup had proven to be a great warrior once trained properly. Loki sat fully grown on Scarletts other side. Not as much a fighter as his sister, he very very wise and strategic. Planning and scheming better than Scarlett ever could.
Scarlett looked out among the growing pack, she always kept an eye out for someone she knew.
The dogs barked and howled and thralled about the drying area. It once was filled with water but now only a small pond lay in the center of the mountain caverns. The caving system was used as a safe sleeping ground, except for Kuro and Bullets last resting place. Scarlett would still choke back tears for her old friend and leader. The area was reserved as a memorial to the past leaders.
