Shikai Appearance: A weapon of solid red crystal. (Base shikai forms are usually sword, spear, or a whip)
Shikai Ability/ Attacks: The weapon shape-shifts to the forms of spear, sword, and whip-blade weapons wielding crimson and black spirit energy for ranged attacks. Allowing for quick and seemless shifts between the different fighting styles, with sometimes shifting to a bow to fire the afore-mentioned range attacks. (no move names)
Bankai Name: Bara no Majo (Rose witch: still not sure about that.)
Bankai Appearance: Like the shikai but with the addition of a companion weapon for two handed fighting (often a large Spartan style shield with a corona of black fire around it’s edge like a red sun) And the addition of a large beast of crimson reiatsu that appears as either a wolf or dragon and can shift between the two as needed.
Bankai Ability/ Attacks: It is much the same as Shikai but with a near limitless variety of weapons to chose from. The dragon or wolf can fuse with Thorn’s body and heighten his abilities with a sort of rage mode, or the shape shifting beast fights by his side.
Abilities: Expert in most weapon styles imaginable, but almost completely lacking in kido ability.
Extra Skills: Hollowfication.

Personality: When Living he was shy and stand-offish with all except close friends, with a good heart and determination he worked through anything to what was right in his mind. Charming and funny, he prized himself as a joker and dork, but a hopeless romantic. When he woke in the soul society, Thorn had traded some of that determination for a slacker's ease, ignoring or forgetting work if it was "boring" and even walking away from fights or rank if they didn't seem "interesting". He gave up his shyness around women and added a sort of pervy quality to his humor among woman. He still has that good heart, but hides it behind sarcasm and bitterness of a sort. In life and death he was a diehard friend with a fierce protective streak, even with outranking or older soul reapers, humans, and visoreds he takes on an almost paternal nature. If a friend's in danger he suddenly is anything but a slacker.

Biography Before Death: During life Thorn was a hard working young man with ambitions of being a writter and artist, seeing an opportunity in Japanese Manga he scraped up money for a ticket and worked several jobs in Japan for his future career. He was always a bit of a joker but always took his name as a sort of brand and saw himself as cursed with the ladies, despite being considerd charming, funny, and kind hearted. When he was about to find possible success in his chosen career and shortly after falling desperately in love with a mysterious woman with an odd aura he was violently murdered.
Biography After Death: No memory remains of what happened after death, except fuzzy dreams about obsessively haunting the woman he had fallen for in life, it's possible that he was turned into a hollow and progressed the ranks of minos grande but uncertain. Seemingly years after his death he woke in the west rukan district of the soul society with the black bladed Zanpakto gripped by the blade in a bloody hand and black & white bits of what looked like bone on the ground by his face. His alias "Plague Vine" was acquired during that forgotten time between life and the soul society. Having the strength and weapon already in hand he sought to become a Shinigami and entered the academy, later rising to the rank of Captain of the 6th squad.
Soul Reaper Academy: At the academy he befriended his future lieutenant Kyoko Shadowmoon, and with her help managed to graduate inspite of his obvious shortcomings with kido.

Biography: During life the man then known as Thorn, later to become Vine, was a hard working young man with ambitions of being a writter and artist, seeing an opportunity in Japanese Manga he scraped up money for a ticket and worked several jobs in Japan for his future career. He was always a bit of a joker but always took his name as a sort of brand and saw himself as cursed with the ladies, despite being considerd charming, funny, and kind hearted. When he was about to find possible success in his chosen career and shortly after falling desperately in love with a mysterious woman with an odd aura he was violently murdered. Upon death he was immediately set upon by hollows because of the cruel timing of his demise, quickly becoming a minos with Thorn/Vine as the core of the many howling souls. His progression to Vasto Lordes was surprisingly quick and he followed the example of Starrk Coyote and became an arrancar so that he could be around other hollows without his reiatsu inevitably consuming them. As an Espada he was the subject of much experimentation and torment, the closest thing he had to a friend was another Espada that he taunted back by calling her things like "Hag" and "Old woman" despite the fact he thought she looked young as himself and very attractive. One day he was set upon by a captain and allowed himself to be killed, having grown tired of that exsistance and hoping to be reincarnated as a human again one day, but the experiments had an unforeseen affect and instead of returning to the pool of unborn souls for his karma to decide his future he woke in the Soul Society as a shinigami with no memory of his time as an espada and having returned to his human name Thorn. Only to later have the Whole split and brought forth as an Arrancar again, to stand beside his Shinigami half.

Abilities: The same basic abilities as most Espada: Sonido, Cero, Gran rey cero, etc. But additionally he feeds through a creeping red reiatsu that emits from his body like reaching vines. This he can use in a fight much like the true form of Yumichika's shikai.

Zanpakuto Appearance: It is a nodachi style like Thorn's, but is the negative coloring (black is white, white is black) and the handle appears to be a human femer (Thigh bone with the hip joint for a pommel)

Resurrección Appearance:
Resurrección Abilities: His sword becomes a long silvery white curves sword that when swung can cut those things usually intangible to beings like Shinigami or Arrancars. For example, if he were to face a being with an oppressive reiatsu that would stop most attacks all on it's own, Vine's resurreccion blade could slice through that directly to the being's physical form. His speed, strength, and agility are greatly enhanced and the armor is both weapon and protection.
