"The whole house is amazing," she breathed, tail twitching as she looked around the room, drinking her in with her eyes. How could she ask him to leave such beauty behind to come with her? The fact that he was willing to... Could she have dreamed of a better Leska? Maybe they could have the construction guild help them build him something like this on the estate for him. She liked that idea, she would have to see to it. With all he was doing for her, this was some small thing she could try and do for him. It was a shame that they couldn't bring the whole house forward with them...
Don't even think it, cub, a male voice sent, thick with amusement. He could hear the edge of it, like a whisper at the furthest range of his hearing. Her ear flicked in minor agitation, and she did not seem aware that he had heard the voice, but she did not seem surprised or annoyed by the voice either.

Hadrian's eyes narrowed and he sent his senses flaring. He detected no danger from the surrounding areas, or another physical presence. "Who was that?" His voice held a small edge to it, and his eyes were searching their surroundings for the intruder. "I can detect nothing out of the ordinary...no threat...But I heard something..."

Her ears went somewhat back. "Who was....?" she asked, then she stared at him and her jaw dropped in a smile, and her ears sprang back up. "Wait, you mean the voice? You heard him?" She was thrilled, and a low purr started deep in her chest. "You actually heard him!" she licked his cheek once, clearly pleased.

Hadrian wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly, "There is no intruder, is there?"

She leaned against him, her tail curling lightly against the back of his leg. "That's Vartra you heard," she said with a soft purr. I had been trying to think if there was any way to bring your house forward with us, and he basically told me no," she said with a chuckle.

"Varta..." He shook his head and kissed her forehead. "Your god is speaking too loud if I can hear him." He smiled, "He knows I do not listen very well, I assume?"

He nodded, "You do that...But we still need to set you up a temple. Do you like either room?"

"I love them both. I could use either. This one might be a drop better, though, for a temple. May I open the windows?" she asked, glancing at them thoughtfully.

He frowned, "I keep them closed with the curtains drawn for my health..." He mulled the decision over in his head, "I suppose...but you must keep the door shut at all times. And I will never come in unless it's dark out. I cannot tolerate the light as well as you."

She touched his neck lightly. "I can leave them closed," she assured him.

He shook his head, "No, if it will make you happy, open them." Hadrian smiled at her, "I don't need to be in there all of the time, or most of the time. I imagine this temple to be yours, a space just for you. I probably will not pop in unless invited, and therefore you won't need to worry about me."

"Thank you," she said. "But if you start to speak with Vartra, you will need a place to meditate as well. It is easier to leave it as is and choose to change it later, than to change it now, and try and recall later all the things that must be changed back."
