	Severin sighed for a moment as he propped himself up against a tree. The mountains were cold and each craggy rock was covered with snow, so much so that the young stallion had to wonder if he was even standing on the ground and not rocks. Not that he cared either way. His blue eyes went from the tree to his clawed front feet. He had to admit that they were quite handy in a situation such as this. He was able to grip rocks much easier and find his balance with them while his back hooves would slide around. Then again, he wasn't very graceful in the snow. "Why does this white stuff have to cover everything?" He asked his brother, not really intending it to be real question. The stallion looked up from his claws and over at his brother. "How are you faring?" He further questioned. What could be done to make this trip easier? Well not much but at least he had his brother. If he ever lost his brother though? The stallion shivered at the thought. A lot of things would happen. No soul alive would have seen a fury and chaos the likes of which Severin would unleash upon the world. Oh yes. And if someone had even scratched Nox? Oh they would wish they were dead a million times over. The stallion could just imagine the joy he would feel when his claws were digging so far into their flesh-- But that hadn't happened. His brother was beside him and healthy. A smile came to the stallions muzzle. "What do you think of this cold? Are you okay?" The stallion sniffed at the air. If he was a little younger he might have exhaled air a thousand times just to see it respond to the cold. However, he was an adult. He shouldn't do something like that. Severin's blue eyes gingerly shifted to his brother, away, then back again a couple times. Then he exhaled into the air, smiling and shaking his tail feathers in joy. Who needed maturity? 	Following his brother everywhere was becoming a normal routine for the aging stallion. They were twins and to him that meant stick by your sibling at all times. He didn’t know how his brother felt about it, but then again he didn’t really care. He was going to stick by his brother no matter what. Even if the b*****d were wrong about something he would stick by him because his brother believed in it. It didn’t matter that his brother wasn’t the best stallion in the world, hell he wasn’t either and the two of them made the perfect duo. They were two peas in a pod. Nothing could split them up. Nothing. When he heard his brother speak, it snapped him out of his own daze causing him to look over giving a small grunt of displeasure. “Because it does. Nature does the weirdest things sometimes.” He said to him and didn’t have an answer. He was just trying to get him to shut up so he could think for a moment. But that didn’t stop Severin from keeping his mouth shut. Again another question was asked. “I’m faring just well..what about you?” He asked back and wished he didn’t. It meant his solitude would be broken by more noise. Why did his brother have to ask the most obvious or dumbest questions? Why did he have to continue to talk or feel the need to talk? “The cold will pass eventually. It’s winter and it’s going to be cold all the time. No point in really dwelling on it. But I’m fine. Are you alright because you seem like something is on your mind?” He asked him as he continued walking at his brother’s side. He didn’t like anyone coming close to his brother. Hell he didn’t like anyone getting close to him either. He didn’t like anyone near either of them pretty much. He preferred to just be around his brother. He was the one person who understood him inside and out. He didn’t need to fake around him and didn’t need to lie about who he was around him. He could be himself with no problems at all. He remembered when they were only colt’s and how much trouble they use to get in. He blamed it on their need to always look for dangerous situations. They were always trying to do more exciting things with their life. “So..what exactly are we doing traveling this way? Is this for a job or just for amusement purposes?” He asked looking at him then glancing away wondering just what they were supposed to be doing really. He hoped it was a job so that he could entertain himself and stop thinking for once. He was always thinking about his brother. Not all in an entirely creepy way, but it was border ine creepy. He just was the only thing that had been in his life and he cared about him a lot. He wasn’t going to let anyone take him away either. Severin was his and no one else’s. ~Kiana_Nala~
