Corporal Smith Hammond III "Lead me, follow me, or get out of my way." -- George S. Patton Corporal walked into the barracks with a pot in one hand and a wooden spoon in the other. He had never given the cadets a proper time to wake up for the hand-to-hand portion of training, because he wanted to surprise them, put them in a panic, and then see how well they responded to it. He began ringing the spoon rapidly inside of the pan shouting, "Titans! Fire! Hurry! Get Dressed! Head outside!"
If these cadets weren't ready for battle once they left the barracks, then they would probably not enjoy the rest of their day.
Once all of the cadets filed outside, Hammond ordered them into two columns and began the morning run that would lead them to where he felt was appropriate to begin the 1-on-1 portion of their training. [ooc: I am extending an open invitation to Mist, because I like the idea of his character observing everything. Also, I apologize for how long it has taken me to set this up.]

ooc:I started fresh, and now I am ready for Rping again! Alexandra James █████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ Alexandra was the last person expected to be in the cadets bed area as he was laying alone in his old bed he used before he was ranked up, looking around he grabbed a pillow and threw it at Corporal Smith Hammond Alexandra screamed loudly, "DON'T WAKE ME UP!" He slammed his head into the bed and then lifted his head up again, "IF THEIRS A TITAN KILL, IF THEIRS A FIRE MAKE ME SOME COOKED CARROTS, AND I PREFER BEEN IN MY UNDERWEAR!" He screamed louder and lay back down, originally someone would see it as been lazy, but Alexandra was just screaming so loud to get everyone around him up and laughing to help them start with a fresh smile standing up he stretched and yawned, as he walked outside next to Corporal Smith Rubbing his eye he pulled his black book out and his pen and began to prepare writing about the cadets. Looking at Smith he smiled, "So whats your MoJo for Today Mr.Smith?" He said with a bright smile, a black shirt tied around his head as normal, this was to keep the sun from his head and keep his head cool.

Mina yawned whilst getting up in her own time. in-decent to the point she was in her underwear, she rushed to dress yet made no fuss about . Swearing under her breath about the noise she was very quick to Notice that Alexandra was nearby and near stopped in her tracks, she shook it off as he left though to continue, " yeah it seems to me he loves his authority over us.. although it is nothing compared to what i heard about Corporal Morrison...that man is a legend.. although he is very harsh and strict with discipline..uhm i will see you outside...Lindsay is it?" She beamed, once dressed, she got ready to line up. Running, she sighed having skipped out on breakfast her stomach made interesting gargling noises that sounded like complaining whines, but she would run keeping at a speed that was shocking for her petite form, her hair billowed behind her loosely like tendrils of fire as her hair wild and untamed danced to the winds whispers.

Corporal Smith Hammond III "Lead me, follow me, or get out of my way." -- George S. Patton "Today, cadets, we will begin the hand-to-hand combat phase of your training. This will both test your might if you were to ever need to battle or detain a human, as well as your ability to withstand pain from any sort of exertion that your body may undergo."
Hammond beckoned Alexandra to him with a warm smile. Hammond saluted him as well.
"Myself and Corporal James will be overseeing this portion of your training, because, I am sure that someone who takes note of everything in the way he does will be able to see and record anything that may need to be reprimanded."
Hammond cleared his throat and then took a drink of water.
"That reminds me, always remember to hydrate. A big cause of muscle fatigue is dehydration. So, to begin the days training, we will have Cadet Franz and Cadet Weaver sparing. Both of you step forward and give it your best."
Hammond stepped back to allow for adequate room for the combatants, and he removed his jacket and rolled up his sleeves. It had begun to get into the hotter hours of the day, and he was not a fan of sweating while idly standing. As he rolled up his sleeves, he revealed his tattoos depicting titans and death, as well as many of his scars. He was both doing this for the practical purpose of not being hot in this sweltering heat, as well as showing off the types of things that come with being a member of the Scouting Legion. [OOC: The goal of this exercise is to see how players would run through a mock fight. The fight will take place through a minimum of 5 posts, and it shall not exceed 10 posts. Have fun, guys!]

Darius stared at the ceiling for a second as he groaned at the noise. Was that a pot being hit and shouting? He sighed and threw back the blankets on his bunk and jumped out. He was a early riser typically but he still didn't like being woke up. He was dressed lightly for bed, just his underwear and a plain sleeveless top. By the time he got to his locker the top was already coming off and he was pulling the door open by means of his right foot. He reached inside and set the tank top down for later before grabbing his normal clothing. A new clean top and then pants in quick order. He then reached in again and pulled out his jacket. Since there was a hurry he only put one arm in the sleeve before reaching in again and taking his blade off the weapon rack in the back of the locker.
Darius the turned for the door and rushed out with the others. By the time he made it outside he was already shrugging into the jacket and getting his cloths settled. When he joined the line of other cadets he leaned forward and looked up and down the line then around. Wait.. There are no titans out here... Everything was down right peaceful outside. The early morning birds were chirping and everything. Darius sighed and straightened back up. The corporals came back and began explaining the training today. Darius listened and then glanced down towards the two small cadets. They were first.
He would move his blade and work for a bit to get it settle on his back. He wouldn't be needing it since there were no titans and the exercise according to the instructors was hand-to-hand. So he got it put away on his back where it would be out of his way later. He then settled in to watch the others.
