He is not afraid to tell you what he thinks of something or someone, and doesn't seem to care if it hurts others or not. He is looked at as lazy, often times trying to shirk Guild work in the chance to take a nap or hang all over his brother. Beneath it though, he can be kind and caring, he is just wary of others.

· Biography :: Born to a moderately wealthy family, Kiel and his brother grew up fairly well off, though in the end if bored them. The two boys were always out adventuring, trying to explore the world beyond what their parents had allowed them to have. It was then that Kiel came across his very first glimpse of magic. He and his brother watched a pair of Mages battle it out in the middle of the woods one day, and were immediately taken by it. Kiel and his brother began searching for a way to find out if they too could use Magic. When their parents found out though, they forbid the boys from practicing, saying that nothing good came of it and that it would end up hurting them.
Undaunted, the pair continued their quest to find out if they too were magically inclined.One day, while walking home from school, he had decided to take the longer way, his brother wanting to get home quicker, so the pair split up. On his way home, Kiel stumbled upon a small silver key in an alley, and, upon picking it up, was greeted with a rather large, well dressed white rabbit. The rabbit was a celestial spirit, and it agreed to make a contract with the young boy. Over joyed, he ran to tell his brother, clenching the key all the way home. However, what he was met with he will never forget. His home was on fire, and he could hear his brother screaming inside.
Forgetting about his safety, he ran to save his brother, only to be met with a man dressed all in black, barring his path. He too was a Mage, and for some reason, had been sent to target the Alabastor family. The Mage attacked Kiel, and the boy fought back, calling on his new spirit to aid him. Unfortunately, the rabbit was weak to fire, and easily overpowered. Left vulnerable to the man, Kiel cowered, crying for his brother to help him. Which he did. His brother came, crashing from the burning house, seeming undaunted by the flames that licked at his body and clothes. Oddly enough, he was wearing something completely different than what he had been when Kiel had last seen him. The Mage turned to his brother, throwing fire at him, which seemed to sputter and die as it reached it, or simply slid, like water against a glass, down his body. The boys then attacked the Mage with whatever they could find. Quite literally beating him back. By then, people from town were starting to gather, and the Mage, sensing a losing battle, ran.
His brother collapsed exhausted, and Kiel ran to him, crying and begging for someone to help. When it was all said and done, the boys were the only ones left alive, their parents had been killed in the fire. They became withdrawn from everyone except themselves. Their goal was to find the Mage that attacked their family, and to make him pay for it. They figured that joining Sabertooth would fit their goals well enough, it was suppose to be a Guild with a strong Guild Leader, and if that were the case, then the members would have to be fairly strong as well.
