Sir Andrew Clark, born in the 15th Century, was raised from an early age to be Serve under House of York. He was the first born son of his name to House Clark, as First born son to Lord Greggard Clark, Drew was destined to inherit everything upon his fathers Death, as was tradition. Sadly his fathers death came much more quickly than anticipated when King Henry VI of England, began to lose his mind and go insane, a house of Lancashire, the Clark family had never been friendly with the Royal Family, especially as they swore fealty to the House of York. Now back to Drew, you see he had inherited his Fathers estates at the young age of 10. Anyway Both Drew and his good friend Edward IV of House York had grown up since birth as great friends, almost like brothers. They would laugh, train and whore away together, like the young lads they were, until the day came where Edward began a campaign against House Lancashire, to assert his claim to the throne. The battles would be bloody, but with the Help "The King Maker" and Cousin to Edward, Richard Neville, Lord of Warwick and Andrew Clark, Edward claimed the throne, sadly, Drew never got to see his best friend upon the throne, for he died on the battle that won his friend the Crown, well not only died for, but in fact died shielding his friend from a flurry of arrows, and then proceeding to kill the unit of Archers and the General of the battle before he gave in to his wounds and died, adrenaline wearing out, he died a hero, an unsung hero in history.. King Edward declared that here after, Drew's family would be looked after and keep all their lands for the rest of time. (And those who fought for House of York, would also forever now hold allegiance to House Clark).

Shortly after dying, and a devote christian at the time, Drew grew increasingly worried when he did not ascend to Heaven, no it appeared to him he was locked in Purgatory, cursed to wander the earth until his time would come to ascend, this sadden Drew greatly. However, he learnt his spirit did not appear to be locked to the battlefield where he died, unlike many of the others he had fought beside and slain at the battlefield, as their spirits wandered the area. Drew was free to wander as he pleased, as such he decided he would attempt to see as much as of this world as he could before his time came. Eventually he reached the coast, instead of walking the sea bed he floated across its surface. he would cross over to mainland Europe, stepping into france, a country he hated with a passion, he hastily left. This adventure of his led he all the way to a group of Islands known as Japan. The culture was far different to European culture, it fascinated Drew greatly, he wished to experience it all. During his times as spirit in Japan, he saw many things, a great respect for the culture he developed. Especially the countries elite warriors known as Samurai, he admired the way they fought, in fact they fought with the same code he had done on his final battle, he died protecting his lord, as did these Samurai. Now one day as he was "resting" atop a shack, he was visited by a person dressed in black robes and holding what he had come to know as a Katana, the person bowed to him and spoke. "Your wait is up, you can ascend now..." Drew assumed this person was an Angel and he was finally able to ascend to heaven... This was far from the truth, the person tapped the bottom of the handle upon his Forehead, he began to "Fade" and became light headed....

Now Andrew would find himself in the Soul Society, no memory of who he was, or even what he was now doing. He was lost, a lost soul. He was then issued a ticket, it held the time he had died, and then sent off to his district, sadly for Drew, he would be directed to the 80th District, the Zaraki District. Known to be one of the most violent and crime ridden districts, Drew made his way, somewhat in a daze, he didn't know what was going on, now why. He had died a hero of his people, and yet now he was not in heaven, or the heaven described to him by the Priest of his local church when growing up. He had done great deeds, and yet he found himself here, wearing nothing more than a sleeveless vest and a pair of shorts, now before he had reached the 80th district, probably around the 58th or 59th, when he got mugged and a group of people stole and then fought over his shoes. He didnt fight back, not in his daze.

But he would finally found his way to the 80th district, and it looked terrible, it was clear there was no law here, nobody was safe, many of the citizens stay hidden in their homes. Looking out the windows at Drew as he wandered down the dusty, dirt ridden path. Drew was so lost, but out of the corner of his eye, as he "regained" his composure, he would notice a shiny object, he would walk over and approach it, he found it was a Japanese Sword, the Katana, how he knew its name he couldn't remember, but he did, as he grasped it, he noticed the blade was nicked everywhere, it was in terrible condition. Drew would sigh but take it and carry it with him for many years later. Over the years, the Katana he found, he realized reflected the Zaraki District it's self and so he named it "Zaraki".

He would remain in the 80th District for several years, pretty much laying down his own law in the district, it was still pretty lawless, but the small area he patrolled was safe and better looked after, the people there began to love him, made sure he was fed well, and in turn he protected them from the gangs that had formed in the lawless district. One day on his patrols, he saw two youngish looking men, well dressed in black robes also patrolling his route, he was worried that something was going to happen and so had ghosted them, as the turn the corner, Drew heard shouting and swearing, he would rush round the corner, to find the two men were being beaten down to the ground by a group larger than he had ever seen on his route in the 80th District. It shocked him, but a strange sense of protection welled up inside of Drew and he rushed the group, his pretty much useless sword in hand, he would run one guy through and drag another off of one of the well dressed men, he then saw the man also held a Katana, but he was unconscious, and so taking initiative he would grasp the Katana, and pretty much dual-wield his broken Katana and the pristine Katana, the fight against the large group of maybe 20+ men would rage on for a good hour, as the two well dressed me laid unconscious, Drew now covered in multiple cuts, and even being blinded in one eye, managed to fight off the assailants long enough for reinforcements to arrive, he once again blacked out due to his wounds.

Later Drew would wake up to find himself in a well kept hospital, the two men he had saved were standing there with a smile.
