arrive at a town; marz's bro has been keeping a lookout for strange happenings to do with the witch and directs her here
town of poppy fairies! wall of thorns in the middle of the town square
innkeeper says that someone was cursed by a witch, and so they put up the wall of thorns to protect the rest of the town from the curse
they go to the fairy that put up the wall, and convince her to let them in
she gives them a potion that will help them not be affected, but it lasts for only an hour. a perfume bottle, to follow the stench.
within the wall, they see the bodies of fairies all asleep in the middle of the street.
they find a house, with a mother asleep in the kitchen, a baby in her arms, a dad in the living room. if main bedroom is explored, they will find a journal:

The rest of the pages detail the woman's excitement of being a mother again, and her regular ordinary life.
in another room:
The door creaks open. It is a bedroom, small but cozy. The walls are plastered with dancing fairies; beautiful smiling fairies with delicate waists and perfect beauty. The first thing one would notice is a vanity table placed right across the door, a huge mirror adorned with wooden flowers. It is clear whoever lived in this room made use of this frequently, with many cans and bottles of beauty products littered all over the table. To the left is a cupboard, filled with dresses, shoes, and to the right, behind the door...
A figure lies motionless upon the bed, but what is prominent is the pool of red liquid dripping from a finger-- it is blood, you realize. Blood, where the stench is coming from. This is the origin of the curse.
-if you examine the body, you find a bloodied bandage clutched in her other hand. if you bandage the finger, the curse stops and everyone starts to awaken
CAVE
following a map found in the bedroom
they finally find her hiding place but no one is there
except some strange shriveled up little eels inching along on the ground
also a cauldron, and a table with vials, ingredients
(potion in a drawer-- if you smell it, you sound like marzena, if you drink it, you look like her)
and then loansharks are like HAH WE FOLLOWED U SUCKERS
