Biography: Dimitri was born in Leningrad to Vladimir and Natasha Kravchenko, his father is a retired General who served in what is known to the Russians as "The Great Patriotic War"(World War II). He served during the sieges of Leningrad and Stalingrad rising to the rank of Colonel. As a Colonel in the red army his father led the attack in Berlin and his unit was the first to engage the Waffen SS at the Reichstag, after the war his father rose to the rank of General for his part in taking the Reichstag. He retired in 1958 and hsettled down in Leningrad. When Stalin began to reinforce his power in the Communist way of thinking, his father became a Communist party member in name only never believing their ideals, He attended the meetings and paid his membership fees. When his son Dimitri was born he instilled the same honor and fighting spirit of a true Russian into his son. Everything from honor on the battlefield to respecting those who show respect themselves. Dimitri when he turned 18 he enlisted in the Soviet army more specifically their Spetsnaz battalion. After boot camp he briefly served in the Soviet/Afghan war until its end. Since the fall of Communism in Russia he remained with the Russian armed forces as it was being reorganized, his unit was now under the newly formed Russian GRU, and he given a field promotion to Lieutenant Colonel, he has since served his country in the GRU's Spetsnaz division.
