Undralig
The Undralig are a grey skinned, silver haired, proud people that live in tribes among the mountain tops and throughout the glacial lands; generally keeping to themselves. They tower over the other races; their average height a staggering range from 7'2" for males to 6'8" for females. Their eye colors range from dark blue to a dim grey. They have a crystalline bone structure that protrudes from their skin in many places. These protrusions will take on a colored hue in response to an Undralig's emotions, ranging the full spectrum of color.
They can live to be anywhere from 50-60 years, though rather than dying of old age... over time, their bodies will start to harden, eventually petrifying them entirely. Typically a petrified Undralig becomes its own tombstone as it reaches its death, though occasionally they could be placed in their villages as a monument to their people; this is normally only for those that are being honored for some great deed that they have done in their lifetime, often a right of a tribe's leader or chieftain.
They regularly clothe themselves in furs of the creatures they hunt, not wanting to waste what little they have in the desolate, frozen lands. They are the only race that is able to use Ice as a solid; a fairly common birthright given to an average of 75% of males and 50% of females among their people.

Dnaldure
The Dnaldure prefer to be labeled Ælesti as it is their given name in the old tongue, but most races are ignorant of the old ways. The Dnaldure are a fair skinned, noble people with a deep appreciation for the woodlands and all its creations. Their eye colors range from most shades of green to a few yellows. They frequently live in large cities among the treetops of the forests, building their homes right into the living trees using the solid Wood. Due to how common the use of Wood is in their lives, most Dnaldure will seek out a 'Master' of their certain craft; be it Voice, Flute, Lute, etc. This way they can learn from their society's best.
Standing at a height of 6'4" for most Arrdin (males) and 5'7" for most Eirdin (females), they tend to be slightly taller then most races. Rather than hair, the Dnaldure have long quills. They grow from the top of their scalp down over the back of their head. In their adolescent lives, these quills start out thin, slender as a thread. As the Dnaldure ages, the quills grow thicker and become rigid and unruly, eventually becoming almost branch-like in shape and thickness, near the width of an inch at their ending average lifespan of 70-80 years. It is common practice for Dnaldure to cut or trim their quills, styling them to suit their tastes. They also have quills in some areas of their bodies and much smaller one on the palms of their hands that are used to climb trees with relative ease. They can be lain flat if necessary so as not to injure from their touch.
The Dnaldure are very in touch with the ways of their ancestors and the old language is commonly spoken amongst their people; regularly learning it at a young age. Their attachment to the old ways is noticeable in many aspects of their lives, not just in their language, but in their architecture, furniture, tools, instruments, nearly every part of their surroundings. Though their clothing shows these aspects of their ancestors, it typically varies in range of status. Clothing on a common Dnaldure is generally sparse, typically fostering a more wild look with small amounts of fabric, though very elegant in design. Whereas the clothing on a Dnaldure of importance tends to range in the more extravagant and expensive fabrics with more layers, but still with the same care and detail in their design. They have a kritocractic government that is ruled by judges.

Vakkre
The Vakkre are a fish-like people who live life mainly in the oceans of the world, ranging from a simple sea cave to elaborate citadels made of coral. The High Grand Citadel Is the center of the Vakkre race, as it was built around the Mother Coral; the entity that gave of itself the first coral to the Vakkre in the days of old. Their skin colors, as well as their height, are affected by the area in which they live, but their eyes are constant throughout all Vakkre; glowing with bioluminescence at will and ranging anywhere from pink to bright cerulean, they have no irises. Males and females tend to be about equal in height within those areas. Most commonly a Vakkre averages around 4'10" to 5'7". Though they're built to thrive under water, being born with gills and webbed hands and feet, they are also capable of breathing and living on land.
The life of a Vakkre is a constant struggle for survival. The world around them is cold, and to protect themselves they must be cold as well; this leads them to their belief that the strong are favored by the depths. They hold no hatred for those that do not share their views, they simply have no room in their hearts for anything or anyone beyond their daily lives. Though the Vakkre can live to 100 or more years, the dangers and the very will of the Sea seem loathe to allow it. They have an advantage over the other predators of the sea due to their symbiotic relationship with the coral. It is bonded to their bodies, feeding off their own nutrients. A Vakkre's coral is typically given to them at birth. The child's father will pass on a piece of his own coral as a sign of protection. If a Vakkre were to lose their coral, they would grow sickly and would have mere days to live. A flourishing coral is a sign of a strong Vakkre, and as such is a very powerful status symbol in their society.
The Vakkre adorn themselves with their coral rather than with traditional clothing. They have an aristocratic government in which a select few rule based on inherited hereditary right. This right is given to those that are closest to the main descendants of the Mother Coral, indicated by their inherent coral living on their bodies.

Shae
The Shae are a draconic race who live in the desert regions. Their scales are brown with gold and tan accents. The Shae (both female 'Shae' and the male 'Henshae') stand at about 5'5''. To protect them from the elements, they have two sets of eyelids; one translucent and one normal. Their eyes range from pale yellow to dark green, with slitted pupils and no iris. They make their homes and cathedrals out of colored glass using the solid Sand. Approximately 90% of female shae are able to use Sand as a solid; normally using it to benefit their society as well as others. No male Shae is able to use sand as a solid, which leads most of the males in the Shae society towards a scholar's life so that their society can also benefit from the enlightenment of knowledge.
They are generally a very spiritual people, worshiping the Deity of the Sand, due to the nature of how the solid works. The Shea have few chances to have offspring throughout their lifespan of approximately 200-250 years. A henshae can lay a single egg approximately every 4 or 5 years, typically between the ages of 25-50. Because they have so few opportunities, they are a very nurturing people; believing that all children are a gift to be cherished. When a Shae reaches around 25 years of age, they embark on a pilgrimage; thus sacrificing their opportunity to have a family at the time. They instead seek to better the world around them and broaden their experiences. Upon their successful return to their home, they are considered to be of age or mature within their society.
The Shae people are governed by a Theocratic Council, a group of appointed leaders who represent the Sand's Will. They typically dress in robes of many overlapping layers made of thin fabric. They don't wear jewelry all that often but will use buckles and fasteners made of glass.

Maddock
The copper skinned Maddock have the same type of quills on their bodies as their Dnaldure brethren, from which they are descended. They fashion the quills on their heads much differently however, typically using thin strands of rope or vines to bind them into bunches. They also sometimes cut them very short. Both of these are to keep the quills from giving away their positions on a hunt. Like the Dnaldure, the Maddock also have an average height of 6'4" for most males and 5'7" for most females.
Unlike their blood kin, they no longer choose to live among the trees of the forest, but rather among the swamps of the lands; feeling that the creatures that inhabit the swamps can bring them the daily challenges and risks that their race strives for. They live solely for the hunt; seeking only rare and worthy prey. Typically they like to hunt alone, so that they might proudly display their courage, though they occasionally will hunt in small packs if the prey is simply too overwhelming in size or strength, but this is a rarity. Due to these living conditions, their average age is a bit shorter; living for about 60-70 on average.
They don't usually stay in one place for too long, but when they make camp, they fashion makeshift boats out of whatever they can rummage up. This keeps them dry while they sleep... though they would say that sleep does not ail their race. It's not unusual for most Maddock to sleep with their eyes open. They have a kratocractic governmental structure, meaning, those who are strong enough to seize power through force or cunning are in charge of the pack. They usually adorn themselves in their trophies, wearing parts of their kills; teeth, hair, furs, bones, etc.

Jhour
The Jhour, much like the Vakkre they are descended from, are a fish-like race of people who can live both in and out of water. They are very similar in appearance, as they have the same webbed hands and feet. Unlike the Vakkre, they tend to live only in lakes and rivers. Because of this, their colors are not nearly as varied; most are a light gray with white bellies. They don't have bioluminescent eyes, but too have no irises and their eye color ranges from dark greens to dark blues. They are shorter than the Vakkre, usually about 4'5''-5' for both males and females, depending on the size and depth of the body of water they live in. They generally live to be about 60-70 years of age.
The Jhour are farming and merchant oriented, and thrive on constant trade and interaction with whatever other races hold land around their waters. They farm plants and animals both above and below the water, offering a wide variety of goods. In order to make trading more comfortable for the other races, the Jhour usually wear clothing of a similar style to whichever race the share the land with.
Due to their mercantile lifestyle, they are very friendly toward anyone they might consider to be a potential customer. Most Jhour are very curious about cultures they have not yet experienced, and will welcome a conversation in place of a transaction- as long as there's no one else waiting. The Jhour have no formal government, instead focusing on trade for their livelihood, though they understand and observe the laws of those surrounding them, in order to keep good relations.

Knor
The Knor have the most diverse and varied lifestyles of all the races. How they live their lives is most often dependent upon where they reside. Although it is also determined by their location, the most commonly seen governmental style in Knor culture is a Monarchy. Bound by nothing more than the laws of their respective lands, Knor often travel or seek out goals and aspirations they set for themselves, though it can also be common practice for a Knor to settle down and have a family. Typically, the ideal of freewill is seen throughout nearly all Knor cultures and stays with them for their lifetime; around 70-80 years.
The lands in which they reside often determine their physical aspects as well, leading them to have some of the most distinct peoples in regards to appearance. They bear a wide range of skin colors, from fair to dark skin, based upon their climate. Their hair colors often cover the spectrum; anything from platinum, auburn or brunette to the less commonly seen lavender, verdant or rose hues. Generally their heights remain a constant for most, averaging around 5'8" for men (male Knor) and 5'3" for women (female Knor). Also constant, and just as varied as their hair, is their range of eye color. A Knor can have irises of blue, green, brown, hazel, gold, gray, lavender, or maroon.
Metal, although not an inherently gifted solid to their race, plays a very big role in their society due to its usefulness in their daily lives. It is commonly found throughout their homes as well as their weapons and armor. It's used in their clothing as well; in their buckles, hair pins and the like, mostly as accents to their regular wardrobe. Their clothing differs just as greatly as their appearance, depending heavily upon the climate. In most cases, the Knor prefer function over stylistic choices, though those who can afford luxury wear more colorful and extravagant fabrics.
