This Is Me
██ ❉ █████████████████████ Brave
❉ Tara is a very brave individual. She will always stick up for her family, friends, and herself whenever they need defending. She helps her mother raise her four younger brothers and sisters so she feels she must be brave for them. Their world is harsh and unforgiving and Tara realizes that she must be brave even when she doesn't want to.
Stubborn
❉ Probably one of Tara's more famous traits is her stubbornness. She hates being told she can't do something or that she's wrong. She will try her hardest to prove that she's right. Though when there is that one slight, the key word is 'slight', chance that she might be wrong Tara will quietly pout and ignore her mistake and carry on pretending that nothing happened.
Wise
❉ Though she's only sixteen years old Tara has a very wise soul. Her mother always tells her she's inherited it from her Grandmamma Lynn. She has this better understanding of what's right and wrong than many teens her age.
Reserved
❉ Tara doesn't like opening up to people at all. She tends to keep many of her true feelings to her self. The only people she can open up to is her mother and siblings. She feels that they are less likely to judge her for what she says compared to others. This is one of the reasons Tara has little friends. Some don't trust her because she prefers to keep her personal life under lock and key.
Creative
❉ One of Tara's traits that many people don't know about is how creative she is. She's very imaginative and brilliant when it comes to thinking of new and amazing things she wants to create. She loves thinking and sketching up designs for clothing and then making them the most. More than anything she feels that clothing design is where she can succeed in for the rest of her life. She hopes to become close to one of the Capitol stylists and to become one of their personal seamstresses.

Welcome To My Life
██ ❉ █████████████████████ The Beginning
The Vale family has a long history in District Eight. Being one of the first families that first settled in their District, the Vale's were one of the families that helped build the factories that they made their textiles in. The men of the family built things and worked on the machines and the women would design and make the textiles. They started off well for themselves and as the family grew older a new generation was born. Pinn and Lynn Vale had started their life together after meeting when both of their siblings had died in the Hunger Games. Life was tough after that for them. They were in constant fear that if they were to start a family that they would be forced into the games. Though love won out on their decision, more than anything they wanted children. They made a promise to themselves though, no matter what they would make sure that their family would be prepared. Years later, Daryl, their first son was born. Then a few after that, Darren, a second son. Then finally the, Derrek, the last and final son. Pinn and Lynn were thrilled to have such a family and raised their sons to be the best they can be. The Vale boys managed to slide by and avoid the games, their parents were relieved. More time passed and the Vale boys began to start their own families. Daryl married his school sweetheart, Tully, and they had three boys. Darren met his future wife, Anita, in the factories. Once married they had four children. Finally, Derrek met his wife, Silvia, in school. Later they married and had five children. And so the Vale family legacy has continued. It's the start of many new beginnings.
The Middle
Tara's mother and father met when they were very young in school. Their families were very close so they grew up together. A few years after they got past the the age range of the Hunger Games the two got married. Soon after they started their family. Tara was born first into the family. Her mother and father were more than happy and raised Tara with the same values that they were raised with. Soon after her other siblings came. Next was Token, Talia, Tiana, then finally Tao. Some time after tragedy stuck their family. Their father went to work in the factories and there one of the machine equipment malfunctioned it was flinging parts all over the place and one of them struck him in the head. Derrek Vale had died instantly. The family as been a mess ever since the accident.
The Present
Tara has taken it upon herself to help her mother and siblings cope with their father's death through the years. She's done so much for them to make sure that they would be able to survive. She's taken on three jobs since she's dropped out of school. She just wants to make a better life for her family and herself. Though it seems like she can't make things better as of lately. For during the latest reaping Tara's name has been drawn to be the next tribute for their district. More than anything Tara's hoping she can stay brave and stand her ground during these games. She wants to prove that nobody should take her lightly.
