Here in Eldyn, people are able to learn powerful moves in order to gain the upper hand in battle. There are great Legends of Champions who weaved together giant fire storms to take out armies, Warriors who manipulated the air around them to create a swirling vortex of wind that would shred the molecules of anything that made contact, stories of men and women who fought with ten weapons at once, having their weapons levitate beside them as they fought and switching from weapon to weapon with each strike.

All of these Heroes... These Legends. They didn't start out so ******** awesome. They were all students once, like you, who trained day after day to perfect their skills and become the legends we know them as.

This, is your introduction to learning, kiddos.

The Learning Process

Alright, guys and gals. To start off this little session, I would like to rid you of your worries. The learning process in this role play is probably the simplest thing I've ever come up with. If you've been in those guilds where they require you to post paragraph upon paragraph in order to learn one little skill/jutsu/spell/whatever-it's-called, do not fret! The process is simple and easy to understand.

In order to learn skills, you will have to use it in battle (Whether that be a spar or a real fight is up to you). First and foremost, when learning the skill, you will suffer from inefficiency, as in the skill will cost more EP to use, and will have reduced benefits.
Second and second-most, the learning process for skills will take 5 posts to complete. With each consecutive post, the EP cost will decrease until it reaches the normal cost for that skill. Same with damage/effect of skill. Damage will be less than normal, but will do more and more with each consecutive post until it does the normal amount of damage. But if the skill effects the user (ie. augments your stats, such as strength, speed, more weapon damage, etc.), it won't take effect until the skill is fully learned (check the next post of this thread for the inefficiency tree).
If this worries you, fear not, for if a Trainer is in the same area as you (as in the same thread), all students will get a 2 post reduction to learning. So if it normally takes 5 posts to learn, it will only take 3 posts instead.
Trainers are any high ranked characters throughout Siri who agree to help you learn skills. Simply ask one in the area, and if they agree, you will get the post-reduction bonus.
Note: The trainer MUST be of a higher than your RPC for the bonus to effect you.
