LEARNING THE ROPES

Ok, Listen up boys and girls. Before you go off into the world and punch someone in the face, you have to learn HOW to punch someone in the face. Here in Eldyn, we have a battle system. Now, before the complaints, I want to explain how easy it is to incorporate it into your post. The system work as so,

1. Reaction.
The first part of the system is the Reaction Phase.
- What this means is that you have the power to react to a action someone takes in any way you want. Be it by dodge, block, etc. This helps prevent the petty argument of GM. But don't say you dodge EVERYTHING, that would be silly and take the fun out of a fight.

2. Action.
The second part of the system is the Action Phase.
-Your action step is where you attack, hide, run away(Which is a good a tactic as any when facing a strong opponent). This prevents confusion with the fight and the "What did you do?" or and "How can you do that, when you where doing this?" they virtually don't exist. But IF your still confused you should contact me. Or the Captain, either or.

3. Support.
-This part can be really confusing. Support can happen, BEFORE the Reaction Phase OR BEFORE the Action Phase. What this means is that, you can buff your stats by the use of skills, like speed and strength before you react, dodge or block if before the Reaction. And if done before the Action Phase, your stat boost can be used to buff your attacks for a heavier hit. Well maybe not too confusing but kinda, Right?

Note:
You don't have to separate your post into these different phases, unless you want to. But you can mend it into your post by simply explaining how you block or dodge the attack (Reaction), and then how you proceed to attack your target (Action).
