The RX-79P MK-II is Variable Experiment Prototype developed using data from RX-79P using frame of RX-78. After RX-79P was shot down by MS-06HM and some of RX-79P's data was damaged, so the Experimental Unit decided to rebuild it using the arrival of RX-78(decoy) few days earlier. In Dec 24 UC.0079, RX-79P MK-II and MS-06HM both took heavy blows from others, what was left is the RX-79P MK-II Core Block, drifting in space, then RX-79P(RB) launched it's first and the last rescue mission before the whole Experimental Team disbanded
