Everette stood and thought deeply to himself when his daughter fled, listening to the two vampires argue for a while before Alucard turned his attention towards him. The male wolf turned just as the vampire's son had stormed off and nodded as he spoke. "I know this is for the best....even Mynn and I spoke of it...hell she was the one that suggested they meet before the weeding. But maybe that wasn't a fantiastic idea...still, Mynn is wise....and if nothing else she can talk to Lyri and calm her down. That is....if we even find her." he said, then began to think again. "In fact.....do you have a garden anywhere near Alucard? With tulips?" he asked with a slight curious gaze.

Everette nodded a little and walked with the vampire until he was told to stay put once they reached the back door. "She will be in any purple or blue ones." he called out as the vampire left by himself to search for his daughter. The werewolf knew his friend would have better luck charming the girl out than he ever could trying to pry her out, and Alucard always hand such a gentle hand. With a sigh he began to pace back and forth, thinking to himself and frowning a bit.

Meanwhile Lyri sat sniffling in a tall and large row of tulips, hiding down under the petals of the flowers almost unseen. That is until she heard the vampire call and make his way to her. "Go away!" she growled and turned with her back facing him, her long fluffy white tail curled around her waist as her knees were pulled to her chest. She was determined to stay in her hiding spot, acting like most children who were forced to do something they didn't want to, resulting in a hiding spot the jaws of life could not pry them out of.

Lyri heard the vampire man sit close to her and she frizzed up a bit, not really wanting to speak to him at all and still quite huffy. Though something about the tone of his voice somewhat soothed her and she settled long enough to sniffle out her words. "Cause...no offense...but your son is an uptight jerk!" she said and buried her face in her knees. "I can't believe you and father want to pair us in a marriage! It's ludacris!" she said, showing a slight tone and language that was a reminder of how old she actually was despite her childish looks. Also despite the fact she was actually speaking to him, she still refused to move from her spot and sat like a little girl deep in the tulips with her back facing out.

Lyri glanced back slightly when he spoke of the reason behind the choice and rolled her eyes a bit. "I don't think that walking statue has one fun bone in his cold stoney body." she huffed, though her ears perked up slightly at the mention of her mother and sweets. She turned to look back at him and sniffled again, wiping her tears of on her sleeve. "Mother is making pumpkin teacakes?" she asked rather cute and innocently as she turned and began to crawl out, her tail brushing a few tulips, causing them to sway peacefully behind her. "Fine...but I wanna go home now." she said, still acting a bit huffy as to show she had not been defeated and in fact came out on her own accord.

Lyri wiped her face with her long loose sleeve and glanced up at the vampire when he spoke, still with a somewhat huffy face but more so calm at the talk of being home with her mother baking her favorite sweets. When the man left, Lyri sniffed her way back to the front of the house, crawling in and around things until she now stood in front of the front doors, waiting on her increasingly worried father to come out.

Everette stood wringing his hands quite nervously until Alucard returned, a small bit of relief crossing over him when he was told the news. "Of course! Mynn would love to bake with her, she always does." he said with a small smile, then it faded for a second as he spoke again. "In fact...she was expecting it to go this way....such a wise woman...hell, she's probably laying out the ingredients as we speak." he admitted and looked up at his dear old friend. "I'm sorry things had to turn out this way...I wish it had gone smoother...but you know youth these days."
