Elari smirks and the twins challenge. "Oh you two are on now." Glancing over at Val, "I know your Haunter. Unlike some other ghost pokemon around here, he never leaves your side to go scare people."

A sly smile is then painted onto Kaoru's face, glancing over to his brother, then back to Elari.
"Whenever you're ready." he clears out some space in the middle of the room for their battle.

Val looked up at her Haunter who laughed and licked her. She sighed "Well... contests involve battling, right?" she touched her Haunter softly

Kaoru glanced down at his Eevee who gave an approving nod. Kaoru looks up and chuckles, "That is right."

"Lets get'em" Hikaru says excitedly to Eevee and his brother as his Eevee crouches just in front of him ready for the first attack.

Starly flies in front of Elari, staring down the Eevee. Elari smiles, taking her usual fighter-like stance. She glances at Val before returning her attention to the pokemon.
"Starly, Tackle!"
Starly flies straight at the Eevee.

Eevee dodges Starly's tackle as Hikaru and Kaoru cheer.

Hikaru cheers for a moment with Kaoru before shouting out his first command to Eevee. "Eevee Tail Whip!" He shouts, although the attack wouldn't do any damage it would leave both Haunter and Starly with lower defences. Eevee sprints across the room his tail whipping through the air.

"Starly Ascend!" Elari shouted quickly. Starly shot up into the air, Eevee's twirling tail just brushing her foot before she reached six feet in the air.
