Ｔｅｊａｓ ________________ ❝ I was a shy, stricken deer,
that left the herd, on my own.
I came across two roads that diverged into a yellow wood,
and sorry I could not travel both, and be one traveler.
The two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
and that has made all the difference.❞ Trist gave an awkward smile to him, nodding. "I don't mind, I find you fascinating, Trist." Reiki said with a small laugh, not knowing what else to say. "Animals just....we don't go through all the pain, misery, and happy times that everyone else goes through. We live to survive. It's almost depressing to think what we're missing out on." He ran his hands over the endless stacks of books that surrounded them. "Sorry if I seem clueless, but...It's all just so interesting, and cool."

Trist sad with an awkward laugh."I'm really not that interesting though, there are plenty other humans who are fare more interesting then i can ever hope to be." He said, offering the other a small smile." Though, if any one is inserting it is you, i'm envious if i were to say the truth, iv always wanted to talk to the animals." He said though, there was no disdain in the others gold eyes, oh no, just admiration.Life is its own reward, live it, don't take it for granted.

and that has made all the difference.❞ "You're plenty interesting, Trist. You share my common interests. That's something interesting in itsself. Not to mention you're so completely well rounded. You may be pampered and treated like the king you are, but you know what it's like to live a commoners life. I'd honestly give you the title "Mortal of the Year" if I could." Reiki blushed, scratching his head. What else was there to say? Trist wasn't just interesting on his part. He was so fun to be around, so articulate, so intelligent...So him. He loved it. Reiki felt different with Trist than he did with other people. There was a spark there that was not there previously. And whatever that spark was there for, whatever it signified, Reiki welcomed it with open arms. He truly, honestly liked Trist.
"Though, I do appreciate your compliment!" He quickly said with a blush, biting his lip. "I feel undeserving of it...I'm just a simple person, just as you. There's nothing special about any of us. That's what I find so interesting about you, Trist. You might be the king, but you're truly a normal person, sure you might be a male banshee, but besides that, you're you. I don't need to find some special human to interest me. You're so down to earth, and honest. That alone is enough for me to find you truly special. In these times, those qualities are treasures."
Reiki ran a hand through his hair. "I'm rambling, but I can't help but say the truth!" He was blushing a bit harder now, leaning back into the wall with a content sigh, the light hitting his face in just a way that it framed his features perfectly.

T-thanks.." he stuttered out, he was not used to being complemented like that, at all, heck he was used to being sworn at more then pampered with such kind words, words that made him feel lighter then air no less.Life is its own reward, live it, don't take it for granted.

and that has made all the difference.❞ "Hey now, hey now, don't hide," Reiki chided softly, taking Trist's hands in his own. "Do you want me to start complimenting you on your looks? Because I can, you know," He teased him, laughing. "There's no use in hiding yourself, especially not in front of me. You deserve some good complimenting once in a while, really." Reiki hadn't realised he was still holding onto Trist's hands, and for the moment, he sincerely wished that Trist had forgotten too.

He said, trying to send a smile the others way, not even paying any mind to the fact that he had yet to let got of his wrists." B-be sides if we are going off of looks you are a far more eiseir then i to describe, i could really go one about it." and that has made all the difference.❞ Reiki shook his head slowly at Trist's words, the grip on the king's hands softening, if not getting lighter. "Not at all," He mumbled, smiling. "I think you're attractive. Both in terms of your personality, and outward appearance." Reiki said with complete honesty, his tone soft, calming, sincere. The he heard what Trist had mentioned when it came to complimenting him. "That couldn't possibly be correct...What more would you need to say to describe me other than a deer-man?" His blush deepened. Why was it all the sudden he was feeling self-conscious? He usually thought he was average on human standards, but he just couldn't accept Trist's words for some reason.

How many other deer gods have you seen...you have warm and loving eyes, nice hair..your skin is a perfect tan as well...but it isn't just your outward appearance that is exceptional, you have a loving heart and warm soul and an appreciation for life that i...really admire.." He said, eyes looking away from the others, he had always had a hared time complementing others to there face.Life is its own reward, live it, don't take it for granted.

and that has made all the difference.❞ Reiki stared at Trist for a long while after he heard his compliment, eyes wide, cheeks aflame. "I -" He started, before he bit his lip, twiddling his thumbs. "Thank you. Thank you very much." He smiled softly, and his eyebrows furrowed softly when Trist looked away. His hand reached to cup his cheek and softly turn the king's head towards himself. "Hey, don't look away," Reiki said with an even deeper blush and a shy smile. "Shouldn't I be the one looking away in embarrassment?" He paused and pat Trist's shoulder, then added, "You're very kind to say those things to me, Trist. You've graced me with your wonderful company, and your compliments. Thank you, honestly." Reiki opened his mouth to add something then blinked. "I think," He mumbled, leaning in closely to give Trist a shy kiss on the cheek. "That's what people do to a person they like. I think...?" Reiki finished, biting his lip, cheeks aflame once more. "Right?"

Y-yes that's what people do when they like some one, among other things. "He said as he cleared his through,ok he needed to man up, being completely shy only gets you so far.Life is its own reward, live it, don't take it for granted.

and that has made all the difference.❞ Reiki's ears flip-flopped in happiness, letting out a sigh of relief. "Oh, good!" He said, smiling softly. "I don't understand what makes it so pleasing, but judging from your reaction, i'm very glad you liked it, Trist!" He said happily, inner thoughts flowing to what the proper thing to do for the person to show they liked the other back. Maybe another kiss? Reiki contemplated it, though he wasn't expecting anything in return, he didn't even know if you were supposed to get anything in return.. He was just glad Trist didn't mind the foreign action, and that he welcomed it. "Other things? Like?" Reiki asked him, quickly shuffling through the book pile to get out a piece of parchment with a quill, fishing ink out of the corner, his doe eyes filled with mirth and curiousness, thirsting for knowledge.

He said, before tapping his chin, thinking."Well, what i have seen at least, there is hand holding..and kissing, hugging a lot of the them its just being around the other person." "Hand holding," He repeated, trying to imagine that. He laughed. "That sounds uncomfortable." He contemplated it for a moment, and watched as Trist ran his hand through his hair. "I see, I see," He mumbled, nodding, looking down at the parchment again. "How do you know...If it's real love? Not...Well, y'know, something that will go on for a weeks or a month or two, and then...disappear? A friend of mine always says that to me, that he and many others had did that before." Reiki ran a hand through his hair. "It sounds very sad,"
