Chakra can best be described as power or energy a ninja needs in order to perform techniques. It is probably the most important element in fighting for ninjas. Chakra consists of two main parts: the body energy and spiritual energy. Body energy can be tapped into from the cells in your body. The faster your cells move around in your body the more energy you have. Body energy provides strength for a ninja's mind. Spiritual energy is usually acquired from certain experiences in training or battle. Spiritual energy can be best described as an adrenaline rush or extra burst of energy. This may come in handy when a ninja is very tired and worn out.

Controlling, Building, and Protecting!

Controlling Chakra Controlling chakra during battle is one of the most important aspects in fighting. Another important part is to being able to build chakra to perform techniques. Building chakra is essential if you want to perform Genjutsu and Ninjutsu techniques correctly. Stamina also plays a big part in this. In order to create chakra you must convert it from stamina. When you perform techniques you not only release chakra but also stamina. Being unable to control your chakra can end up being deadly. If you release too small of an amount, the technique you tried to perform will fail. If you use too much chakra you may end up severely hurting or killing yourself. A ninja must have a certain amount of chakra in their body to live.

Circulatory System

Circulatory System In addition to the circulatory system in your body to transfer blood, ninjas also has a circulatory system to transport chakra. Instead of having veins and arteries, chakra is transported from certain pipes and passage ways. Chakra is released by traveling through this system and out. Since the chakra circulatory system goes around many important organs, when the circulatory system is attacked and damaged, your organs may be damaged as well. There are 361 openings in the chakra circulatory system in your body. This opening is called the Tenketsu. When the Tenketsus are blocked you will be unable to perform any techniques. The Byakugan has the ability to neutralize all the holes so chakra cannot flow. It is very important to protect yourself from these types of attacks.

Chakra Gates

Chakra gates are gates in the body that are used as limiters for chakra. They regulate the flow of chakra throughout a person's body to prevent someone from going beyond his/her body's control. But by using a move like the Primary Lotus, which opens 3 gates, the user can release some of the limits on the body. This means the body can move at a much higher rate and with more power. Opening a gate increases chakra flow temporarily, but by doing this, it means the user puts an incredible amount of force on his/her body which can result in massive injury. There are 8 gates in a body. If all 8 are opened, the body no longer has any limits and can move as fast as it wants. But opening all 8 gates is often fatal and depending on the move, it can kill the user.

Chakra Types

There are five different types of chakra: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, and Lighting. The Uchiha clan tends to have the fire type of chakra, although Sasuke can use both lightning and fire. Kakashi is of the lightning type. Naruto is of the wind type. Most Jounin can use at least two types of chakra. Using two types of chakra at the same time is often a result of a bloodline limit. For Haku, he used water and wind types to create ice. Yamato uses earth and water to create wood. To find out the type of chakra a ninja uses they use paper from a tree that feeds off of chakra. If the paper splits you're type of chakra is wind, if it bursts into flames yours is fire, gets soggy its of water, the paper crumples if you are of lightning, and it turns to dust if you are of earth chakra.

Battling With Chakra

Rules:

1) To show me that you have read the chakra system, in your profile (before acceptance) place 5 stars next to the chakra pool.

2) In general, ninja of lower rank and young age cannot beat those who are older or of higher ranks; or at least, when it comes to a chakra battle. Older ninja have more Chakra as they have trained more, unless certain circumstances are in place. Higher ranked ninja have more, or slightly more chakra since they have trained more (which is why they are of higher rank and stronger than the lower ranks in the first place).

Basically, this system is being set in place to provide realism to the number of jutsu a ninja can used based off of what we know from the Naruto series. A Genin, in general, simply does not have the same chakra capacity of a Chuunin, and is at a FRACTION of the power of a Kage. If a Genin has more experienced role playing skill, he or she can still beat a Kage, but for realism within the genre, we are limiting the number of techniques a Genin can use before they deplete their chakra reserves, as well as doing the same for all the ranks.

3) Our system is points based. Every rank within a [Class] will have a certain number of 'Chakra Points' available to them at their rank per day; unless other means are achieved to retrieving chakra. Every technique will have a set cost, and when your RPC uses a technique, the cost of the technique will be subtracted from your total 'Chakra Points' for the day, limiting the number of jutsu you can use for the rest of the day.

4) Certain aspects of a person's Strengths/Weaknesses will determine how much chakra they have to use, so the position of your Strengths and Weaknesses within your RPC's profile do matter. The same varying effects apply to certain Bloodlines, Curse Marks, and of course, Bijuu Hosts as well. The tables below will show a normal shinobi's total:

5) Ninjutsu and Taijutsu costs! When utilizing a Ninjutsu technique, you are not only utilizing Chakra but also stamina energy as well. When Taijutsu [unless it is a technique that requires chakra], you are utilizing purely stamina. This, will make the fights require more strategy to their rp fights.

Regen Chakra

As we've seen many times in the Naruto series, chakra isn't always a quick depletion of source. Or at least, it does not remain gone, even during a fight. Taking that aspect, we've placed a mechanism that will enable a person to regain chakra even during battles. Here, you will see the numbers in which a person must "wait" [ I.E: Not utilize Jutsus ] to Regen their chakra/stamina:

- Every 3 posts without chakra and stamina usage, will restore 10 points of chakra.

- Every 7 posts without chakra and stamina usage will restore 25 points of chakra.

- Every 10 posts without chakra and stamina usage will restore 50 points of chakra.


Learning Jutsu

This is standard post requirement for learning jutsu of your rank. ( This is mostly, only for custom jutsu's. In this guild, we have decided to not enforce jutsu learning. So that upon ranking up or character creation, you are allowed to have the max amount of jutsu's for that rank. The only thing you would still need to train for, is chakra increase, chakra reductions, and custom jutsu's. )

Gennin CAN learn this Jutsu and it does help with Jutsu learning. This is how many clones a person can summon

Gennin=1 clone to help learn

Special Note: When learninig a Jutsu you will have AT LEAST make 5 sentences per post. We don't want you to make novels here,but you shouldn't be make one or two lined posts when learning jutsu's;especially if it's a high ranking one.

Or you can do 45 words for a post if you want to do it that method.

*) Chakra is cost,when learning a Jutsu. This is to permit people for learning a billion jutsu's or learning extremely high jutsu's that are not of their rank quickly. So basically, you have to pay half the original cost of the jutsu rank, for every post while learning the technique until learned.
