Everyone who joins will begin on their first year of studies. Though throughout the courses, the main plot will unfold. At the end of the season, every character is bumped up to the next year and then some. For example:
Let's say we have three students in Season One. By Season Two they are Second Year students and newcomers are First Year students. That way there is not only a sense of progression but a more evolving world.
-Why should I RP?-
The main reason to RP is to show that your character is still active. So if you do not RP for a season, your character is held back a year. Plus, the more you RP the more you unlock as far as rewards or perks! And those who participate in events will gain more than just the notion they helped, they get SPECIAL ITEMS!
Like Titles or the Ability to create a Familiar for example.
