What we need, dear friend, is to clean out the members who have and have not posted. Those who have no posts what so ever, kick, and those who do, or inactive, ask why they haven't posted. If they are not going to post any more, then kick, and if they are going to post, give them a time limit, say a week, to start posting again, and if they haven't, kick, and try to get the rp's rolling again.
In one of my other guilds, they have a thread that lets others know if you'll be gone a few days, a reason why they'll be gone and gives someone the right to godmod their character, for a post or two, just to keep things moving.
We also need moderators to keep watch in the role plays and put their foot down when they see something that is out of line, my example is with Alan. I think you know of that one I am talking about, (SSMP).
We also need guild wide updates, for like bounties, and jobs that need to be filled, and any information that is needed for giving out.
and I think that what Captain of Fanged Ones has a good idea. Give warnings, then kick, and make a banned list. Give no exceptions.
