Laram was born to an obscure branch of the Hatake clan, living in Takigakure. There weren't any but his parents there. It didn't bother him, because he and his parents were happy just with each other. His parents were great shinobi, and were often called away for dangerous missions. This is how he lost them. With his parents dead, Laram had nothing left in the village. He was a prodigy from an early age, able to out think his opponents in little time. After Laram passed the academy exam, the takikage decided it was best to use Laram as a way for peace between Takigakure and Konoha. Laram became a peace offering to Konoha. Of course, whatever the kage's decision, it was to be obeyed. So Laram left without question.
