Hello Everyone! I have been wanting to discuss this topic for quite some time since I am a gun owner myself and it seems that there is a strong push (ever since Sandy Hook), to put bans on large capacity magazines and "Assault Weapons".
I think that our 2nd amendment rights still hold up today, and that firearms of all kinds are nessesary to retain on to the freedoms we have today. Adm Yamamoto told Emperor Hirohito that if the Japanese invaded America, "There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass" Not to mention that criminals would still obtain firearms even if they were illegal; only the law-abiding citizen would get hurt by the laws.
Those are my thoughts on the matter, what do you guys think?
