Bree Alvarezn Bree had momentarily fallen into a deep sleep and woke herself up suddenly. She had just seen a dark shadow in her dreams and shook her head, trying to get rid of the image. "Excuse me" she told Darren and Nina. She stood and went to walk out but found the boy there. ~Murdoc Smalls: First Year~ Murdoc jumped, not expecting the voice, and spun around to look up at the girl towering over him. He gulped at the request, not expecting any of the bigger kids to notice him, and a bit unsure as to what to do. The girl was pretty, but was also kind of intimidating, given her Big Kid status.
Murdoc looked at her for a moment, before realizing he was staring, and looked down to his feet, his ears turning pink. "Uh, if that's okay?" said the boy in supplication, before remembering his manners and looking the girl in the eye. "Um, sure, if it's okay with everyone!" He attempted to smile, thinking hopefully to himself, 'Maybe if make a good enough first impression, the older kids won't look at me funny and I won't say anything stupid!'

~Murdoc Smalls: First Year~The kid stumbled after the girl pulled him through the door, and after straightening his green hoodie and jeans, nodded, and gingerly sat his trunk down somewhere out of the way before sitting down on an empy futon. He waved nervously at the compartment's other occupants. "Um, hi," said the boy, figuring he should get the pleasantries out of the way before getting his book out of his backpack. "I'm Murdoc. The other kids always just called me Doc, though."

Nina turned to the first year and smiled."Hi there Murdoc,Im Nina and this is Cashmere." She said pointing to her small white kitten.Nina might be cold and major mean to kids her age when they got on her bad side.But Nina has always had a soft spot for kids.

~Murdoc Smalls: First Year~Murdoc shrugs and smiles, before bending over the rail of the futon to open his bottomless trunk to release his orange tomcat. "This is Noodles," he said by means of explanation, "he also answers to 'Furball'." without saying anything more, Murdoc disappears down the stairs of his bottomless trunk for a few minutes before returning with a book that sports an exploding nebula on its otherwise black cover. He cracks the book open and begins to quietly read, not wanting to bother his hosts.
After a moment of perusing the book's contents, he looks up and asks, "About how long do you think before we get there?"
