Deep within the labyrinth of Forrest life that was the Rice Field Country sat a gigantic hollowed out tree. At it's base was a large opening that gave way to a downward sloping stare case which lead underground to a series of housing blocks. Setup almost like apartment complexes, each door along the main floor opened to reveal a single large studio type room with a single kitchen unit and single bathroom. This housing district truly was the bare minimum, though over the years its inhabitants have gone the extra mile to add a level of coziness to their homes. Many have gone to great lengths to put up home decor and even went as far as planting flowers and other green life in the very walls of the tree that encased the housing district.

Shiro let out a startled cry as she woke falling clean out of bed and crashing to the floor. She let out a groan as she gathered herself up and sat on the floor. She blinked a few times and rubbed her eyes. Bou let out a yip and she nodded “Yea... that nightmare, again.” she responds to Bou sounding a bit short. She pushed herself to her feet letting out a long yawn. She gathered up her things and stumbled down the stairs to get breakfast. She blinked a few more times feeling tired, and irritable. However she wasn't going to let her poor sleep as of the last month make her late to class on such an important day as today. She picked up a couple extra scrolls and stuck them in her bag. “Bou, come.” she states firmly. The little dog let out a yip before he climbed into the bag as well. Shiro stopped one last time before going out the door to pick up a warm fur-lined coat. Sure it wasn't quite THAT cold, but she hated being cold, and she wanted to wear her nice new coat now anyway. “Alright, bye everyone I'm going to class.” se states with a short smile before stepping out the door. It was a little early to be headed to class however she was determined to not be late so she headed for classes EARLY today. She made one stop on the way to school however to pick up some steamed meat buns for breakfast. That task completed she headed right for the ninja academy.

Loric sat up slowly in his bed before raising his arms high above his head and letting out a soft yawn. Today was a new day, another chance to prove to himself that he could learn to be a great Shinobi. Turning his body to the right, Loric slung both of his legs off the bed and sat there momentarily in an attempt to calmly break himself out of sleep. "Oi...Rizu!" he called out sheepishly. From directly under his bed a loud yelp rang out followed by the head of a small black puppy. "You ready for training buddy?" he questioned playfully while holding his arms out for Rizu to leap onto his lap. Grabbing his pet dog with both hands and holding him up in the air, Loric continued making conversation. "Today is gonna be your first day huh? Let's do great ok." he said before tossing Rizu up into the air who without hesitation curled his body over into a back flip and landing on all fours directly in front of his bed. Loric then headed towards the shower and hopped in.

One moment, Takuya was hanging from the fabric he had laced around the railing. The next, he was staring at his ceiling at house. Moving his gaze over to his arm it was tightly wrapped in the fabric, no trace of the hallway ever occurring. Eyebrow arched he smiled, this was certainly intriguing. Knocked out of his thoughts by the sudden sound of the alarm cutting through the silence he jumped, apparently, night had already passed and it was time to get up and start readying himself for the academy.
Unwrapping his arm and eye Takuya made his way to the bathroom, giving himself a once over in the mirror. He looked tired, like he hadn't slept (and to be fair he didn't recall ever sleeping). Shedding the rest of his clothes he hopped into the shower, preparing himself for the school day ahead. After he cleaned himself up, he redressed, carefully wrapping up his arm and eye before heading to the kitchen.
As usual his father was absent, already at the hospital likely, and a singular note on the table.

Lunch is in the fridge. Do not disappoint me.
Cracking the fridge open he pulled out his lunch, setting it aside and grabbing an apple for himself for breakfast. Hefting his bag to his shoulder he closed the fridge, exiting the apartment and locking it before slowly making his way to the academy.

Miyuki awoke from her sleep just in time to watch the sun rise from beyond the distance. The young girl stretched her arms high into the air before deciding to finally take her stand from the bed. She placed her left palm over her mouth as she yawned deeply. “Time to get ready for class,” Miyuki stated unenthusiastically. Miyuki began to prep picking out some clothes for the day’s activities. The weather outside had gotten drastically colder over the month, so she was being forced to wear something more appropriate for the time of year. Without hesitation, the girl still had made the decision to appeal to the sensei of the class because obviously having that favor was an advantage. Miyuki took about an hour to finish up the entirety of her routine, which included: showering, getting dressed, eating a hearty breakfast, brushing her teeth, and prepping her class materials for transport, among other things. The young girl even decided to put a hint of special fragrance on the nape of her neck, as well as on her wrists. With the upcoming test, Miyuki wanted to be absolutely irresistible for her lecherous sensei. After the young girl was finished prepping for the day, Miyuki grabbed a messenger bag and slung it across her chest. “I am ready for this,” the girl exclaimed while holding her hand close to her side balled up into a fist. She opened the door walking outside for the first time that day. Her body’s initial, natural reaction was uncontrollable shivering. ‘Geez,’ the girl groaned whilst locking the door to her apartment before making her way towards the academy. She missed the warmer weather which had passed by much too quickly for her taste.

With a burst of energy, Kuro shot up from his bed quickly while breathing deeply in a cold sweat. His face was slightly paled as if he'd ghost, and he also had bags under his eyes showing the level of exhaustion he'd been subjected to. Luckily it'd not effected him all that much, it was just really bad in the morning. Reaching for pants that were placed by his bed, he brought them under the covers that covered his lap and put on the trousers. Once on he stood up and let out a long and loud yawn as he stretched. Getting use to the level of tired he was in wasn't too bad as it'd been a month since he'd started having this terrible level of sleep anyways. Moving himself over to the to the closet to where hung the rest of his clothing. Reaching out into the indented space of his room, he grabbed a shirt and slid it over his head. Just before he headed out the door, Kuro grabbed his jacket and hat as he headed out the door. One thing he knew to get him over his tiredness was to eat a decent breakfast, but with him being so tired he usually ate while walking to the academy. Walking through the kitchen before heading out the door, Kuro grabbed an apple, banana, and a few other odd food items. And as soon as he woke up and got dressed, the young shinobi in training was off to class before he was going to be running late.

Loric stepped out of the shower feeling refreshed and ready to start the day off on the right foot. After heading to his room and getting dressed, Loric prepared himself to head outside and start his walk to the academy, but not before grabbing a warmer jacket to shield him from the changing weather. "Rizu! Let's go!" he called out, which Rizu immediately sprinted directly up his leg and nustled himself directly under Lorics jacket and over his chest so that his head was the only part of him that could be seen poking out from Lorics collar. Just before heading out, Loric grabbed a handfull of beef jerky from a basket sitting directly on the kitchen table. It was a good source of protein and best of all he could eat it quickly and on the go. Walking out of his home, Loric continued to nibble away at the slab of dehydrated meat, periodically tearing off bite sized amounts to feed to Rizu on the way. The moment he got outside he immedately soaked in the crisp air. This was the type of weather that he liked the most, not too hot and more so on the chilly side. As the comforting scent of the forrest lingered over his nose, Loric picked up a faint whiff something along with it. It was the sweet smell of a ladies perfume that lingered in the air around him. The aroma was nice, but somewhat over barring due to his enhanced senses. None the less however, Loric welcomed the scent, anything to take his mind off the horrid stentch of rotting flesh that he had experienced in the academy last month. Even thinking about the smell still made his stomach churn.
