Now if you havn't RPed before here's some basic terms you should make a mental note of that will help you later:
RP = Roleplay
ORP = Open Roleplay || Anyone can join an ORP an don't have to ask before jumping in.
PRP= Private RP || A private RP is between a two or more people who have decided to RP amongst themselves. PRPs are invite only so please do not post in someone's PRP if you were not asked to join them.
Godmod = To godmod means to RP your character as if they were unstoppable and epic in all they do. This applies to all RP including fighting and travelling.
Here is an example of god modding:
don't do this Galatio cackled as he easily dispatched his foe's companions before lunging upon Rio and ripping his throat. Rio fell to the ground bleeding and Galatio sneered down at his fallen foe.
^^ Galatio's owner is not only controlling him but Rio as well who does not belong to them. Let's try this again shall we?
this is better Galatio growled as the two goons leered down at him with their claws extended. He knew he would have to take them out to get to Rio. Summoning all his strength he slashed wildly at the demons' companions, hoping to draw blood.
^^ See? You always give your partner a chance to retaliate.
NOTE: Godmodding can also apply if you are given said chance and always have your character escape unscathed!! Be reasonable! RP is like the tango, it takes two!
Demons are a lot like humans only will growl and use their tails to portray emotions aside form communicating telepathically. They have claws and do get in fights but can also form close bonds as they try to survive in the wastes of hell.
Here are a few things to remember then Rping a demon
- They DO have mouths but they only appear when the demon eats and they eat meat that they get from little hell creatures they manage to hunt down.
-They tend to live in groups or clans but there are those that wander alone.
-They don't have any super powers outside demon strength and invulnerability to fire and heat.
-They like to hunt, fight, play, and explore. The underworld is their oyster so to speak. You can have them do anything you want along the lines of surviving, building a life, finding friends, going on adventures to explore far off places. etc.

There are three main zones of this land: The Desolate lands, the livable lands, and the frozen lands. The Desolate lands are full of mountains with the odd canyon or two, on the edge of these lands there's the start of a dead forest that lead into the livable lands. Most of the Desolate lands are wasteland with little food and harsh weather so very few demons choose to live there willingly. Demons may wander these lands after being driven out of the livable lands by a stronger clan.
The Livable lands have plenty of food and many demons choose to make their clan homes here either in the dead forests, at the bottom of the few canyons or high in the mountains to the north or south. The rest of this land is flat, rocky wastes where food wanders timidly in the open.
The frozen lands are just that. Hell did indeed freeze over and only demons who are well adapted to the cold dare to make their homes here. Snow and ice cover this land and even the lava around it has solidified into rock that will never thaw. Think of an arctic wasteland with mountains, glaciers, and lots of snow. The the mild north there's a small dead forest that some demons have found to be tolerable.
One RP idea would be a brave demon's adventure into the desolate lands, or perhaps they and their friends are up for a trek to the mountains to find a nice cave to live in or maybe they already do? The sky is the limit so have fun. =D

 Clans are groups of demons that have banded together to survive. They commonly consist of several family groups and inhabit an area of hell called a territory. Clans will constantly look for more and better territory and because of that there are conflicts. Demons will fight others from other clans and are very distrusting of them.
RPing a Battle
When two demons wish to fight you must use the RNG with a range from 1 to 2. if it lands on 2 then your demon scored a successful hit. All demons have five hit points [HP] and an RNG is also used to determined who will go first in battle. When a demon's HP reaches 0 it is unable to fight any longer. in character this can mean the demon has fainted or is simply too weak and gives up.
Running a Clan
All you really need to know are these few things:
+++ Clans can have demons belonging only to you or you can make a clan with your friends.
+++ Clans do not move from the main territory and tend to occupy the same land all the time but demons can wander away from clan lands.
+++ you are free to choose one of your demons to be clan leader and run it as you see fit as as long as you remember the testing.
+++ In the future clan wars will be allowed but for now clans are in a uneasy truce aside form squabbles that break out outside clan lands amongst demons from opposing clans.
+++ You can depict your clan as living in a cavern, out in the open in hand build shelters, or even high in the trees of a dead forest. As long as it fits the hell setting you can have your clan home anywhere.
