 Coremean opens the door, briefly looking around the classroom. "Figures," he mutters to himself, "First one in class. Why is it that I'm always the first one..." Opening the door wider, he walks to the seat closest to the front. He dropped his stuff on the floor with a dull thud and leans back in the seat. Glancing at the clock, he began to count the seconds that pass by. One, two, three, four, five, six...

 Cardinal strolls into the classroom, shuffling a deck of cards in her hands, as she makes her way in. she takes a quick glance around the room, taking everything in. she notices someone is already there, so she strides towards him and hops onto the desk next to his. "well howdydoo, fancy meeting you here." Cardinal smiles as she shuffles her cards unconsciously.

The sudden greeting had Coremean surprised. He wasn't used to being approached by anyone. "...Hey?" he said, trying not to sound so surprised, to no avail. He noticed her cards. "You sure have a way with cards there... Is it a hobby?" Randomly striking up a conversation wasn't something Coremean would do normally, but hey, He needed help passing the time.

Cardinal gave a small smile. thinking the question through before fully giving a reply. "it's more of a reflex and a habit then anything else, these cards are my life, without them i am nothing" she said as she gazed at her cards tenderly, just holding them in her hands lost in thought. Cardinal suddenly shook her head snapping out of her small reminiscing moment. "so..." she looked up at the boy in front of her, starting to shuffle her cards once again. "whats your name?" she asked with a grin on her face, wanting to learn more about the boy in front of her, whom she had decided to make her new friend no matter what.

"My name?" The surprises didn't seem to stop with this one, but he was intrigued, it wouldn't hurt to indulge her. "I'm Coremean," he said, leaning toward her. "How about you?"
