Mull leans against a wall in a dark alley, arms folded across his pale chest. He yawns briefly, then steps out of the alley into the night air, wandering around looking for something to entertain himself with. He didn't care what or where it was, he just really needed to find something to do with his time. Mull was, to put it bluntly, bored out of his mind. Never a big fan of the daylight hours, he typically wandered all night, looking for something to occupy his time, before he would then go to find some dark hole somewhere to curl up in to wait out the following day. He really didn't care where it was that he eventually holed up, usually, as long as it was dark as sin. "Tch... This place is boring as hell..." He mutters to himself, kicking over a garbage can nearby before continuing his wandering, hands shoved in his pockets.

The darkness of night was like a warm embrace to the Egyptian. It was during this time that Mariku escaped from his confines of the Audio shop and strayed into the city. Here, in the urban locale, there were countless of victems he could release his frustrations on, the easiest being the ones that come out of the buildings with the bright neon lights and usually smell of some sort of fermented drink... he believed it was called alcohol. Twirling his Millenium rod around his fingers, he slowly walked down the street, tail swaying as he avoided the glow of the street lights. Wretched light. He thought as he looked for something or someone to entertain him, so far, with no luck. He tsked in annoyance at this, but the sound of something crashing nearby caught his attenion. Perhaps he could find some ally punk to torment. With a devious grin, he dived into the ally the sound came from.

Mull, hearing something behind him, whirls around and crouches slightly, thinking he might have startled something into movement in the alley that he could have some fun with. His fun usually involved inflicting pain of some sort on his intended victim before releasing them. Of course, release could be used to mean any number of things, depending on what Mull's overall mood was. Crimson eyes flick around, readjusting from the dim lighting just outside the alley's darkness. Tails swishing a bit, he creeps a bit closer to that end of the alley.

Stepping further into the alley, the Egyptian looked around. His eyes were always adjusted to the darkness, so he had no problem seeing his surroundings. So far, he didn't spot what had caused the noise he had heard earlier. He growled, hoping that it wasn't a measly alley cat that made him go out of his way. He moved further down the alley, twirling his millennium rod around in his fingers. Seeing something faint move in the corner of his eyes, he turned his head in the direction. Soon enough, the eye on his forehead began to glow as he reached for the sheath on the rod as he slowly moved closer. Cat or not, it was still something to stab.

Mull's entire attention focused in the direction the growl came from and, smirking slightly to himself, he creeps ever closer, judging from the growl that the other that was there with him was much larger than some alley cat. He crouches low, then dashes forward, first, hoping to confuse his target and hopefully immobilize it by attempting to slam it against the wall nearest to him.

Having been forced to live in a dark tomb for most of his life, Mariku was quite used to seeing in it. It was because of this that he had, and still, wanted to plunge the world into the same darkness he was accustomed to. Because of this, he easily caught sight of the one lunging toward him. Unsheathing the blade from the millennium rod, he side stepped around his would-be attacker and stepping behind him, placed the blade to the others neck. "My my, what do we have here? Seems someone was foolish enough to try to attack an embodiment of darkness."

Mull lets out a low growl as his target side-steps, then freezes for a moment as he felt cold, sharp metal against his neck. His twin tails swish for a moment, then he slowly turns to glance over his shoulder at the other, seemingly ignoring the blade against his neck for the moment, before almost casually leaning a bit further into the blade. "Seems someone isn't quite sure what to do with this foolish someone that attacked them, hrm?" He taunts a bit, wondering what exactly it'd take to push the others buttons a bit more.

Mariku quirked a brow when his captive pressed his neck more onto the blade. "Hmm..." He mused lightly. With that, he let the blade drop casually from the others neck, but rather than drawing the blade away, he sliced it over the collarbone, holding it there, allowing the blood to run over the blade. "My my... is it wise to tempt fate? Or does one wish to be tormented?"

Mull gives a sharp toothed grin in reply to the questions at first, then gives an almost careless shrug. "You aren't really living unless you're tempting the fates. Although being tormented isn't entirely a turn off from the evening, I'll say, even if I was looking to do some tormenting myself."
