She hardly ever slept in anymore now that all her parents did was fight. Stretching herself upright she smiled at her dog, Lightning. "Who want's to go on a walk?" she said and watched the dog's ears perk up. She pulled herself out of bed and headed to the bathroom. She quickly got ready and passed her two brothers room's, both asleep. She rolled her eyes and finally threw on some shoes. Leaving the house without a word, she and her dog made their way to the park.
The park was only a good, 5 maybe 10 minutes away from Dem's house. Hardly anyone in the neighborhood ever went to the park so it was, let's say Dem's happy place? Finally settling down next to a tree, she popped in some earphones and blasted music in her ears. Drowning out the world. [ooc;; sorry it took so long. got suckered into babysitting. Hope this was an okay post, got a surprise brain fart.. ._.]

Daniel sighed softly, running a hand through his hair, looking up at the sky as he walked down the street. He had his hands shoved deep into his jean pockets, and was just leaving his home to get his mind off of some family issues. Daniel and his brother had got into a fight over a girl last week, and lately everyone else in his house was arguing. Daniel just wanted to relax. Being a werewolf was stressful enough, especially when his whole family was one themselves. He gazed around the quiet neighborhood as the wind whipped his jacketed around violently. He hated cold weather. Daniel's ears twitched at the sound of music in the distance, and his eyes landed on a park. Turning around, he began walking that way, and saw a girl sitting down by a tree with a dog near her. He smiled a bit. Of course, Daniel liked dogs.
Daniel made his way over, and pushed the gate open, and walked over the mulch towards her silently. He blinked looking around curiously, before looking at her. He wave, knowing it wouldn't make much sense to say hello if she had earbuds in. Though it was quite strange for him to talk to any stranger in the first place due to his quiet nature, maybe talking to someone would get his mind off of things.

She wondered how long her parents would stay screaming at each other. She watched as Lightning stopped in his tracks and perked his head up at the street. Dem looked to where he was and saw a boy. She pulled out her earphones and turned the music off before looking back up. "Hey." she said, sending him a small wave. Lightning went over to the boy, sniffing him once to make sure he wasn't dangerous. He then returning back ran back to Dem's side.

Daniel shoved his hands into his pockets, looking at the girl curiously as the dog came up to sniff him. He chuckled a bit before looking back at the girl He didn't really know what to say. He wasn't good with conversations with strangers. "Hey, why are you out here alone?" He asked curiously, leaning on a bench.

She wasn't planning on spilling her whole life's story on this boy. She just met him and didn't want to seem like an attention seeker. She thought for a second then looked back up at the stranger. "Just needed to think, breath. Thought going on a walk would do the trick." she said with a small nod.

Daniel nodded in agreement, finally sitting down on the bench, looking at the ground, before looking at her. "You too, huh? Yeah, I came out here to take a break. My family is annoying." Her huffed, before scratching the back of his neck, peering at her. He noticed she looked pretty familiar. "Do you go to JamesWood Academy? That Highschool on Lem Turner? Sorry for so many questions you just look familiar." Daniel explained.

Daniel let out a rare chuckle. "That's cool. I guess I'll be seeing you there then." He said simply, before his gazed dropped to her pet. Daniel looked back up at Demetria. "Can I pet him? Oh and, my name is Daniel. Daniel Marcello." For some weird reason, Daniel felt compelled to also say his last name. Maybe so she could find him in school? Though that was still a strange reason.

Daniel smiled, and crouched down next to the dog, letting the dog sniff him, before looking up at Demetria with a smile. "Nice to meet you Demetria. Sometimes people call me Danny.. but whatever you prefer.".

Daniel smiled a bit. He loved animals. Especially dogs. Since, technically, he was a dog in a way. Daniel looked up Demtria."I love him.. what breed is he or she?" Daniel asked curiously, actually sitting on the floor next to the dog now.

"He's a Border Collie, and his name is Lightning." she said patting the dogs head who was to busy getting attention to Daniel.
