Burn along with his small Growlithe were attempting to lose the group of team rocket grunts within the forest with little success. the child couldn't out run them and ended up blocked by a river. The river didn't look too deep but then again looks can be deceiving. Burn himself couldn't make it but it was okay the boy could run along the river bank still. It was his companion that he was worried about so the boy ordered his Growlithe to cross the river, "Growlthie I don't want them to catch you so go on i'll meet up with you on the other side." The female Growlithe stood her ground in defiance and didn't want to leave him. The red head groaned as the Team Rocket Grunts caught up with them although with notable fatigue. It looked like this was the final hour for the young red head and his faithful companion.
The grunts lined up the leader in the front and two in the back near the dense of the forest. It was there that the trainer and ex rocket member was hiding.
With the odds against them Edgar had to take a surprise attack on the three of them. Luckily he had just the partner to help him. His haunter loved to sneak up on people and play tricks on them. This was just the right time to use Haunters skills. "Haunter I need you to give one of the guys in front of us a big hug okay?" Edgar asked not taking his eyes off of the situation.
Haunter appeared behind the long haired boy and nodded with obvious joy on its grin. The header of the group was about to detain the young red until his heard one of his men scream in the back. Confused the leader turned around and was met with a fist. With one hit the leader was down. It all happened in a flash when Haunter hugged one of the grunts from behind Edgar took the opening and ran right for the leader. "Ah damn its been awhile since I did that." Edgar explained shaking his fist in pain. Burn yelled in joy in the quick victory, but Edgar shushed him,"hush we have two other guys to deal with." Haunter, Growlithe. and the other two stood in defense against the two other Team rocket members ready to fight.
