Marve was quietly sitting in his bed in the Pokemon shelter reading a book and trying to keep quiet. It was the middle of the night and he couldn't sleep, typical. The moon hung in the sky quietly and beautifully, he couldn't help but to look up at it once in awhile.
He shut his book as his Eevee jumped on his back, he always let his Pokemon out when they slept.
"Oh, hello there, what do you want?"
He said playfully. It purred on his back and hopped off. "I guess your hungry? You'll have to wait until tomorrow." His Pokemon hung it's head. "Sorry," he said patting it's little head, "But I need to save some." He yawned and said, "Time for bed."
He lay his head on the pillow and dozed off within moments. When Marve woke up it was light out and the center was in full swing, it must have been about noon, he looked at his watch and he was right. It was typical for Marve to wake up late, considering he didn't sleep much.
He got up and reached into his backpack and pulled out Pokemon food and some soup he made earlier. He ate his food and his Pokemon did the same. After that he put them in their Poke balls and put them in the pocket of his jacket. "Time to go, I guess."
He walked out the doors of the Pokemon center, he paused for a second and though 'These are my first steps into my future, finally I'm gonna be a Pokemon Master!' Though he was extremely enthusiastic he slowly walked out he breathed in the warm, fresh air of the outside world.
He decided to find a gym, he was in the Violet City and he knew about a gym he could go to, but he decided that he was too inexperienced to already to be going into a gym so he wandered into the wilderness around the city to look for wild Pokemon.
He was not in luck so he started to go home when he heard a noise behind him, he turned around to see a Bulbasaur standing behind him. "Well look what we have here! Eevee, come out!" He threw his Poke ball in the air and as it hit the ground Eevee shot out.
Bulbasuar used Razor leaf "Eevee dodge that!" Eevee was already doing so. "Tackle!" Eevee successfully tackled Bulbasuar, but it pushed her off. "Use tackle, again!" Eevee again tackled Bulbasuar, and this time it was over. Bulbasuar fainted. "Good job Eevee! Return." he pulled out the Poke Ball and Eevee shot in. Marve had won his first battle, and he felt very good about that.
