Rage was ontop of a tall building looking over the city. "Burn." He whispered under his breath with a scowl. As he raised his hand he started setting the city on fire. Rage loved to burn things. It made him less angry. The humans started trying to put the fires out but every time the threw water on it, the fire spread. As the humans paniced they started trying to leave the town. Rage would not have this. He made a wide fire wall around the city of Greece. "You will all burn."

Yin looks around fearfully as fires began to light themselves around & when she felt fire lick at her dress she gave a squeal & a jump before using her own fire to negate it. She looks her reflection in the mirror & sees Yang giving a gleeful smile.

"Seems like my kind of fun Yin....Want me to jump in?" Yin gives a shake of her head, Yang doing the same in the mirror with a pout on her face. Yin takes a deep, shaky breath & spreads her arms wide. Suddenly pure white flames come to life & surround the other flames, forcing it into a concentrated area. She begins to move her arms like she was shaping a sphere of air & her fire engulfed the other into a ball. Throwing her arms up, biting her bottom lip in concentration, she forces the mixture of fires into the air & causes it to become fireworks, making the fires disappear into nothing. Yin sighs, feeling tired but she knew her job wasn't done - she still had to help the wounded & find the source. She looks over to Yang & Yang points in the direction of the fire's source.

"You sure you don't want me to take over Yin? Fight is my forte." Yin shakes her head violently.

"....No, I want to see if this can be resolved peacefully. We shouldn't fight if we don't have to." Yang gives her a cryptic smile & shrug, a flash of violence & blood in Yin's mind from Yang. She sways a bit, feeling queasy but steadies herself before beginning to run towards the source.

~~~
Yin walked up on him from behind & stops a little bit away.
"....Excuse me Mr. Demon. Why exactly are you trying to burn Greece? I know humans are not the most virtuous or smartest of creatures but they deserve to live just as much as you or I."
Rage grew angrier as his flames were force into fireworks. His face grew even more of a scowl. He watch the angelic presence run up to him. A smirk came across his face. "Flames burn and ashes fall." He lifted his hand and pointed at Yin. "Soon you will hear his deadly call." Rage staired as fear started to rise in Yin. "Not yet, young angel." He forced flames down so hard that it lifted him into the air and he flew off into the sky. After he got about 400 feet in the air Rage threw a fire ball that hit the city and releast 50 fire elementals. The elementals started burning Greece.
Yin felt Yang's annoyance grow as he threatened her & caused Yin's fear to spike. Yin takes a step back when he shot into the air & let out a cry of alarm when the 50 fire elementals were unleashed upon the city. Yang gives a growl.
"My turn." Yin gladly switches control, closing her eyes. Their shift was subtle. Their body language shifted & the aura they gave off became purely demonic in nature, Yin's braids becoming Yang's snakes. The black mambas unsheathe their overly long fangs that oozed venom & hiss at the fire demon. Yang gives them a absentminded pet as they separate from her hair & wrap themselves around her arms, the ribbons an odd contrast on such dangerous snakes. Yang opens her red snake eyes & gives a purely demonic grin at the other demon before grabbing their gunblade & turning it into its sword form & engulfs it her personal black fire. She leaps down into the city.
"This is going to be fun~!" She purrs.
In 3 minutes the amount of elementals screaming in pain was half as they dissapeared. In 7 more their numbers were down to 10 until there were none left. She stands on top of a building & blows the other demon a kiss.
"Come on pretty boy - show me whatcha got." Yang felt Yin stir & complain that the people were endanger, but she soothes her that she'll take care of that before returning her gaze to the demon. She gives him a flirtatious smile.
"Or are you going to make me come to you~?" When he doesn't move for a second she laughs, leaping up to where he was in the sky. She wraps her legs around his torso & her arms (still with her snakes) around his neck. Yang bats her eyelashes playfully as she leans a few inches in, her snakes hissing but not biting him.
"My, your cuter in person. However...." Her eyes became stern.
"You threatened my darling other half." As quick as lightning she throws him away from the city (knowing full well he'd be fine) & drops onto the ground like a cat. Giving a laugh she speeds to where he was, about 500 miles away from the city. Seeing that he was unharmed, she smiles again, & waves flirtatiously at him.
"Did you have a nice flight~?"
Yin walks steadily towards Greece, occasionally stumbling over her own feet or some unknown rock, but was always able to keep herself up with Yang’s occasional random takeovers helping her recover almost instantly (meaning her ‘aura’ flashed from one to the other occasionally). Still didn’t mean that Yang would grumble in the back of Yin’s mind on how the other half of her split soul wound up so weak. Yin was tactfully ignoring Yang’s grumbling because she knew full well that even if she would grumble & complain she wouldn’t do anything. They were two halves of the same thing after all. The minute she steps into a street of Greece, she stops & looks down at herself. Yin gives the softest of sighs, knowing that if she was to walk around the streets like this it wouldn’t help anything & probably get her put into the hospital. And that was a really bad idea since she wasn’t human. She shakes her head slightly & looks over her shoulder, finding Lelush instantly.
”Seems he’s intent on keeping his word.” Yin nods absentmindedly, knowing full well she looked odd nodding to the reflection that was in the glass window to the right of her, to almost everyone else, would just look like she was nodding to herself. Even if to Yin she could see Yang in the mirror with her black mambas in her hair in the same place as her own braids, the ribbon that held the braids around the snakes’ necks.
”Think it’s alright to take him to the apartment?” Yang looks lost in thought as they resume walking, only taking sharp turns into the alleys to avoid the crowds.
”I doubt Sam will care. He’s probably enjoying the chaos.” Yin nods again but winces when she feels the healing claw wound on her back reopen for a split second.
”...Our body needs rest if your healing abilities are to kick in.”
”I know that.” Yin realizes she said this out loud & sighs more heavily this time.
”Seems it’s worse.”
”No sh*t Sherlock – you just ran 300 miles in 5 hours. And if I may say, you’re a slowpoke.” Yin gives a soft growl in her fatigued state.
”No one asked you.” She hears Yang laugh in the back of her mind.
”That’s never stopped me before.” Yin rolls her eyes as she walks but a small smile tugs at her lips & a small bounce returns to her step.
~~
Yin keeps the robin blue door on the side of the antique store open for Lelush (knowing he’ll close it after her) & walks up the stairs to her apartment door. Fumbling a bit, she finally finds her keys & after unlocking the door (leaving that one open as well) to the apartment. Set up to use the maximum amount of light coming in from the 6 large windows (one being made of a stain glass picture of a tree Sam did) the medium sized living room also contained the kitchen in the corner closest to the green door leading into the apartment. The large room (there were four rooms total - two bedrooms, this room, & a small bathroom) also functioned as the little-used dining room which was hinted at by the table – covered with books which were mostly Yin's, little voodoo dolls from when Yang was curious about them, & canvas stretching tools that Sam’s current ‘friend’ forgot to put away – that was in the corner straight across from the kitchen area. Luckily that was the only place that was cluttered (Yin was a bit of neat-freak) – the rest of the sparse, but warm-toned (to match the cherry wood floors & pretty much bare cream walls, with the random landscape painting of Sam’s lastest fling).
She immediately goes to Sam’s room muttering a quick apology as she goes into his empty room since he didn’t really like his one place (to himself) being messed with. However, she was able to find a pair of faded jeans & 3 plain tee-shirts to choose from (one black, one white, & one a soft blue) that she figured would fit Lelush, leaving some money for Sam to buy replacements. Yin then quickly gets out of there & sets the clothing on the table (she knew that there weren’t any boxers for him in the pile but she figured that wouldn’t have been a good idea – she’d just give him some money later to get his own) for when he caught up with her. Moving swiftly (with a flinch when the wound opened up again) she goes into her own room & gets a long, sea-blue skirt as well as a cream blouse that was loose enough to not irritate the golem’s claw wound on her back. Yin nearly walks out of the room but then decides to take off her gunblade & it’s holder ((OCC: if you’ve played FFXIII the holder looks like Lightning’s)) & put it on the bed. Walking out she realizes she hasn’t put any food out (Yang groans out ‘why’ in the back of her mind but she ignores it) & gets out water with two glasses & some small loaves of bread that she picked up yesterday from the bakery as well as some butter & cheese since that was all that she had at the moment. She frowns at the empty fridge.
”...Sam was supposed to go grocery shopping today. Dang it.” Yin shuts the fridge’s door before picking up her new set of clothes (leaving the food on the cream granite countertop for Lelush) & heads for the bathroom to clean up.
~~5 minutes later~~
Yin walks out of the clawfooted bathtub (was fitted as a showerhead a few years ago) onto the blue tiled floor & turns around, on her tiptoes, so she could look at her back in the slightly fogged-up mirror. She gives a happy smile when she sees that now it was just 5 really angry looking (& slightly puckered – she thinks it’ll probably leave scars since, if she was human, it would’ve killed her) slashes. But that didn’t mean she was careful as she wound a bandage around it as protection & took her time getting dressed.
~~15 more minutes~~
She walks out with hair still slightly damp & the back of her hair (where it was shorter) was a bit wild due to the air-drying her hair with all its layers (Yang’s idea). However, she still had it down & out of her usual braids (which looked somewhat odd because it was really short in the back & suddenly became pretty long from her ears on forward). She smiles at Lelush welcomely before going back over to the kitchen & putting fresh water into the kettle to boil for coffee. She begins to hum as she gets out her French press out & two coffee cups as well as coffee beans. Yin begins to move about; frowning when she found her coffee grinder somewhere she didn’t put it but shrugs & grinds enough coffee for the French press, the smell of fresh coffee grounds filling the room. Yin walks over to the food & picks up one of the small loaves of rye, munching on it as she keeps an eye on the kettle & the second it began to whistle she takes it off, turns the gas off, & pours the water into the press. She turns to Lelush.
”So why were you in that forest in the first place Lelush? Not that I’m complaining of course – if you didn’t show up when you did we’ve probably have died.” She gives him a warm smile (Yang rolled her eyes behind the mirror that separated them in their shared mind). She turns around when a timer dings that it was done steeping & one cup for herself, leaving the other one empty in case he wanted any, grabbing the remaining food (plus cream from the fridge & sugar from the pantry) & putting it all on the same tray. She walks carefully to the coffee table & puts it down, sitting on the chair across from the couch. Yin picks up the coffee mug (a little clay deal that was forest green – the other, Lelush’s, was a cheerful orange) & takes a sip, relaxing into the chair.
”...Do you have any preferences on where you want to go? Personally I’d like to visit New York or the Ruins but I don’t know if I’ll encounter anything that’ll help settle our...debt.”
Lelush wasn't ever too far from Yin, as they traveled the three hundred miles back into Greece. Watching her occasional slip, trip and instantaneous change from Yin to Yang, to compensate Yin's apparent lack of coordination. He didn't care, all he wanted was his souls that she owed him, and figuring that he'd could profit from being around her. Walking the streets of Greece was interesting to say the least, his attire surely got him attention, and with Yin's damaged body, and her speaking to her reflection, that only made more people wonder. Little did the foolish mortals know that these two freaks, as several people were whispering under their short lived breaths, were actually the very same who just saved their miserable existence from a death truly gruesome and horrific, but like all humans, they were ungrateful and ignorant. His eyes shifted to Yin as a bounce appeared in her steps.
As they came to the building, Lelush had gained a bit of fame from the young female humans that lived in Greece, while at the same time, a bit of infamous from their male counter parts. So while he waited for her to open the doors to her home, he was being asked questions by the females that soon began to crowd him. Questions like, where he was from, his name, did he have a girlfriend. He remained silent and stared deeply into all their eyes. Gauging the value of their individual souls, but in their mind he was just being cool. The men had enough and began to crowd around as well.
"What kind of freak, walks around in the nude." One male yelled out.
Lelush smiled. "One who lost his clothing, or rather have the confidence to do so." Lelush teased, sensing the ferocity in the male's soul. Peaking his interest.
"You ******** pervert!" The same male came charging up, cocking back his fist and roaring. Lelush remained silent, and grabbed him by his fist, crushing his hand unintentionally, before kicking him back into the crowd. By this point Yin had the door open, and had already entered. Lelush looked behind him, scoffed and then walked inside closing the door behind him, and locking the horde out. Making his way to Yin's home, he noticed clothing on the table, and picked them up figuring they were for him. His chains slid off his hips, hitting the floor, the sounds of chains rattling together filled the air. He picked up the jeans first, and picked up the faded jeans. He slid them on pulling them up to his hips, they slid down so that you keep see his lower abdomen, and upper pelvic bone. He had no body hair in the slightest bit, and even though he had just came out of battle, he had no scars or scrapes. He looked at the three shirts, one black, one white, and soft blue, not caring which one he wore, he picked up the soft blue one and slid his arms through, rolling up the shirt in his hands before pulling it over his head, and pulling the shirt down completely. It was slim on his figure, and hugged him at the chest but was loose at the stomach, and shoulders. It was comfortable. His chains slid back up his body, and through the loops of his pants, acting like a belt. He still had no shoes, but they didn't really matter to him either. He just walked three hundred miles barefoot. With a sigh, he wondered over to where the food was on the counter top, and began munching.
Five minutes had past and he was sitting on the couch. He held his hand palm up, and watched the souls shift around like little embers over his palm. He wondered what the woman had been doing for so long but she would come around eventually.
Fifteen minutes would soon past, he heard Yin come from where ever she had been hiding. He looked at her as she smiled at him, wondering why she was so cheering then remember she was an Angel. Watching her as started to do various things in the kitchen, Lelush remained silent. Than the smell of fresh coffee hit his nostrils, and like a flash back, a memory resurfaced from his history, he snapped back when he watched Yin walk to where the food was, luckily he was descent enough to leave her some. The pot whistled and he watched Yin takes it off, turn of the gas, and pour it, before turning to him.
"I wondered there, I've been wondering for some time now...." He said drifting off answering her question, her warm smile only met his emotionless face, he was still adjusting to her angelic aura, such a feel brought bitter memories that made him want to gut her open but he was far more sensible than that. He watched fumble around in the kitchen, doing different things before bringing a tray full of cups, food, and coffee to the table. He looked at the empty cup, the orange one, picked it up, he poured coffee into it, and stared for a moment as if trying to remember how to do something. He stared for a few moments before pouring a bit of cream in his coffee, letting it turn a dark brown, and then adding the equivalent of three table spoons of sugar. He stirred the coffee, and than took a sip. "It's.... tasty." He paused at her question. "You choose, I follow, I have no where to be or no desires to be anywhere." Lelush would say taking another sip of his coffee.
"Tell me what you want me to say."
Yin smiles again, even if he didn't show any emotion back. She watches his reactions carefully & gives a soft sigh, putting her coffee down onto the table.
"He doesn't like me. Want to take over Yang?"
"....Why the f*ck do you care if he does or not? He's only here because we owe him a debt."
"Please...?" Yin watches the ceiling fan as she has this mental conversation with Yang.
"Fine. Just don't blame me if he likes me less. Or more." Yin nods once, her eyes closing as she relaxes into the chair.
In less than a second the control over the body switched & Yang opens her eyes, sitting up & crossing her legs. Yang's snake eyes glare at Lelush as she doctors the black coffee that Yin was drinking so that it it barely resembled coffee (five scoops sugar & lots of cream...).
"I hate this f*cking stuff unless it's absolutely doctored. Ugh, that taste is in my mouth..." She shudders & takes a swallow of the now doctored coffee. She sighs happily.
"Mmm. Much better." She could tell Yin was horrified (as always) at the amount she puts into the coffee. Sometimes she did it just to piss Yin off when they've had a bad fight. It was one of the sure fire ways to make the girl annoyed to no end. Yang looks over at him, a demonic grin on her face.
"Well, how's about the ruins? I've been curious about them lately."
Lelush sipped at his coffee. The change in the woman, caught his attention and he put his cup down. Looking her straight in her snake eyes, he smirked. "Why did the other one leave, did I offend her?" Lelush asked, wondering if the Angel left after sensing his feelings towards her kind. It wasn't nothing personal to say the least, it was old wounds that never healed. And as he said before her demon heritage was here saving grace. He watched Yang, feel her cup with heavy amounts of sweetness, Lelush only stared in disbelief. "You have an eccentric sense of taste." He would say before finishing his cup as he listened to her talk about the ruins. "If that's where you wish to go." He said placing his cup back onto the tray standing up, and stretching. He looked Yang, up and down. "You sure that's what you want to where to some ruins?"
"Tell me what you want me to say."
Yang crosses her right leg over her left as she leans back into the plush chair, her expression of that of a pleased (if slightly annoyed) cat. She takes a sip of her coffee (if it could be called that since it was doctored so much) as she studies this odd demon that sat across from her on the couch. Raising an eyebrow as he asked why Yin had switched the control she gives him a 'are-you-seriously-that-unaware?' look but doesn't move, not really caring all too much if he takes offense.
"...She may be a clutz but she isn't slow or unaware." She takes another sip of the coffee but keeps a level gaze upon Lelush, as if daring him to say something or challenge her.
"She could tell you were not comfortable with her presence. In fact, she could tell you felt...murderous at times. So until you get used to us she's making me keep you company even though I care for you just as much as you care for her right now." As she spoke there was an almost amused tone in her normally bored sounding voice. Her eyes however, glowed with silent warning not to harm her other half least he had a death wish, them owing him a favor be dammed. She gives a rather demonic grin that showed rather pointy teeth before her expression & manner turned bored again to keep Yin in the dark of the silent conversation. Yang finishes her coffee as the two longer sections of her hair quite suddenly turn black & break off, leaving her light blonde hair evenly short from front to back, landing in her lap as two equally black snakes.
They blink their large eyes & rear up, their blue forked tongues darting in & out as they focus their black eyes on Lelush. Yang felt disappointed that Lelush didn't react but she figured it was because he had met one of them before (the white one was Yin's actually - not that she could summon them out of their joined state so far). She picks them up easily with one hand, one of them actually rubbing his head on her hand like a cat. Yang chuckles softly, the sound like low melodic bells. She looks at Lelush before uncerimoniously putting them into his lap. They blink a few times & taste the air around Lelush before curling up together on his right thigh.
"Rose & Thorn will keep you company as I go change into something less...girlie. Don't kill my babies if you'd be so kind. After all, it'll just be a waste of your energy & frankly annoying for me." She didn't say where they were going to go yet since she actually have not decided 100% on where she should go since she had to find four souls to get rid of this 'man' who always seemed to have souls in his pressence. The hair on the back of her neck goes up but she goes calmly to her room & locks the door after going into the room, leaving Lelush with her two mambas.
Yang realizes she'll be in control for awhile and gives an annoyed sigh as Yin silently apologies for the inconvience but then gives a grin full of glee. She could dress to he liking now. Yang quickly takes off everything since she didn't like anything that Yin had picked. Humming she picks out a set of black, tastefully (in her own opinion of course - Yin was blushing in her section of their mind) lacy undergarments. Walking around their room just in that she goes over to her own dark stained dresser & picks out a simple & soft deep purple tanktop. Putting it on she goes over to the closet & delights as Yin starts to protest. Yang gives a pleased chuckle at her reaction.
As Yang begins to wonder what else she should wear she felt Yin becoming more alarmed & she gives a all-out laugh, the rumbling & joyful sound her true laugh.
~~About four minutes later~~
Yang walks out wearing soft black low rise leather pants that hugged her legs from her hips to her ankles but gave the impression that they didn't hinder her movement at all. She was also still wearing the tanktop but with the pants she was wearing it showed a bit of her toned stomach (not that she cared about that). Around her left ankle she wore a small silver snake, wrapped around her ankle twice, that was kept on by a clasp hidden in the mouth of the snake (it looked like it was bitting it's own tail). The interesting part though was that a small pearl-like (in color & shape) bell was attaches to it's neck but as she walked it didn't ring. Around her neck she wore a choker of cream lace that had the redish pearl tip of a fang of the demon snake (four inches long), a gift from one her mom through her guardians when she turned 7 (Yin was given a black choker of the same design - only it had a small light red feather attached to it said to have belonged to a phoenix & was from their dad). A black leather jacket was drapped over her left arm as she approached Lelush who seemed to be well-liked by her snakes at the moment. She tilts her head as she studies him & puts her jacket on. She holds out her hands (on her left thumb she wore an antique silver ring that held a black opal in silver made to look like tree branches) & Thorn (the male) immediately slithered up her left arm & wrapped himself snuggly around her neck. She pets it as she watches Rose do the same to Lelush. She even rubbed her head against his chin before sending a mental, slightly stubborn, plea to Yang.
Yang gives a chuckle, the movement making the pearl-like bells on her antiqued silver earings jingle (the only time they actually made a sound interestingly enough). She looks down at his sitting form, her golden red snake eyes accented with a small amount of black eyeliner.
"Seems she's attached to you." She give a cryptic grin before tossing him a key at him & turning off lights as she heads towards the door & grabs her small purple purse that held all she needed at the door (besides her gunblade which was attached to her person as normal & countless knives & ammunition hidden on herself & in the purse. Yang slips on some purple heels that matched the purple pfbher tanktop. She looks back at Lelush, a
"Make sure you lock & shut that door & give me the key when you want to follow~!" Yang winks as her small form blurs as she runs down the stairs & into the streets, the only sign of her was a small blur as she ran (no one seemed to notice her though).
