Rei turned his head to the table, there's a lot of things that could go under the general category of Chinese food.
'Do I even still eat..? It's been so long... But... Would it do any good..?' He thought, walking over to the table and examining every box and cylinder with the utmost curiosity. He came to a container that contained a form of Chicken with spicy sauce. After a couple of sniffs, he transformed one of his fingers into a slander blade, which extended and went directly into the chicken. The blade somewhat retracted, and Rei brought the food closer to his mouth. He sniffed it for what seemed forever before taking a bite and removing his finger from the meat. Rei began to chew, and he gained a rather baffled look on his face.
'This tastes.... Different... Hmm.... I suppose it's not bad... But I'm not quite sure what to make of this...' Thoughts passed through his head at an increased rate, he was in a mode that seemed fixed on observation. There was also a side of lo mein, with white rice and a spring roll. He also noticed a pair of chop sticks to the side that had instructions on their backing. The directions were in a strange and modern dialect to him, however, he got the idea that he was supposed to use them to eat the food with it. He picked one up with each hand and began to try and pick up food with them in a very awkward manner, pointing them in a triangular fashion and trying to pick up the noodles.
"How peculiar..." He said quietly to himself.
Rei had come from the village of the hidden moon, a place where forks with two prongs and basic spoons were prevalent in eating food. So chopsticks were very foreign to him.
